“Alright let’s move out!” she said waving her group forward they dropped to all fours and began to skitter along low to the floor like lizards of some kind as they approached each guard they quickly knocked them unconscious quickly tying them up so they could not yell out or fight back once they came too as it turned out the Mind Controlled seemed to ignore them they would say nothing at all they just continue working non stop so they were ignored for the time being as they moved across the first bridge on the other side they found a library and another room which looked like a theatre there were chairs which looked as if they secured the one sitting in it with Steel cuffs there was a pedestal at the other end that looked like it would hold something about the size of an Earth American Gridiron ball (American Football) “This must be the Brainwashing room!” one of the Rebels growled as they all passed by

NE Harper’s first instinct was to secure the room, but with the rebels around, his second instinct was to search the library shelves to see if a book stood out.

Many of the tomes looked like typical things one may find in a Commandant’s base–rich leather-bound books about warfare and strategy and politics and wicked little books about subterfuge and psychology and media control.

“Anything look important?” Harper whispered to Lt. Commander Farrah and Mal’i.

-NE Harper

“I doubt we have time to be looking through his library we need to get to him and take him out” Mal’i said sternly

Harper was amazed to find, upon closer inspection, that the books on the shelves weren’t what he had assumed and seemed to be binded from leaves. They looked to be completely organic in nature.

As he marveled at the object, he jumped at Mal’i’s voice.

“O-of course!” he said, following behind Lt. Commander Farrah and the others.

-NE Harper, security

No sooner had the invading group got back together and were again near the brainwashing room, and moving deeper to the next landing to go further down, it seems someone had caught sight or sound of them that the group had missed including the trained rebels. Over what seemed like a series of interconnected pipes in the ceiling a fog horn like alert began to bellow out a rising and lowering siren of alarm. Behind them from where they entered several ‘thuds’ were heard as if heavy doors were being slammed shut, in short their route back and out was cut off.

Mal’i was the first to curse under her breath reading their ballistic assorted firearms. “..We have been detected! We need to rush down this next landing before forces can arrive to stop us! We got to find the High Commandant..” She said, bringing the group to the end of this area near a heavy steel made stair well leading deeper. “..Since he is not on this floor he can only be deeper in with his followers!” She said running down the step with her soldiers in tow..”

Lunan pulled his phaser from his pocket, but kept it low, so as to not give the impression that he wanted to start a fire fight if they could avoid it, “Well, we’ve come this far!”

-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-

Harper followed suit, readying his phaser and following behind his superior officer. His heart leaped in his chest. They were certainly heading into the belly of the beast.

He thought about the mindless ones they’d left in the area before and wondered if they’d remained as dolce and shuddered, gathering his energy and will into a ball in his chest as he locked in steps with his crewmembers.

-NE Harper

Lunan shot a glance at Harper, “Everything alright Ensign?”

-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
