Shinzo had been placed on Quarters and not allowed to leave. He took this time to try to better himself and get back in touch with his real self. He started by reading books on war and tactics and exercising regularly to maintain himself. He gave all of his alcohol to Doc and has been drinking water and tea nonstop in order to detoxify his system.
He was now reading a book on Napolean tactics and warfare while sitting on his couch.

A female figure was seen walking about the corridors of the deck. She had a PADD in her hand as she frowned looking through both records and the ship map. After a little bit she made her way to a door. Reaching up she pressed the call button next to the door, at least giving him the chance to get decent.

She put the PADD away as she waited.

He was still reading and was wearing red sweat pants and a white t-shirt, both with the Marine Corp symbol on them. Hearing the door chime he put the book down. “Enter!” Came a booming voice but it was not meant to be mean, he just wanted to make sure the other person would here him. He wondered whom it could be.

Kevasi’s hand shifted up to the button to open the door and with a soft press, the door slid away and the woman stepped into the room. She stood at 5‘7, her firey red hair pulled back into a braided bun. She lets the door close behind her. “Good evening. I am Dr. Tulbrad. The ship’s new chief medical officer. I was coming to follow up and see how you were doing. I read some reports, however nothing is the same as a first hand accounts. That and doing my duty for a medical checkup to make sure your recovery is going as well as planned.” She said somewhat gruffly, this was a business call and she was about the business.

“Well. Pleased to meet you doctor. I am Shinzo Honda with the Marines. I am doing ok now. My hand throbs and I am kind of shaky from detoxing from booze. I believe me being cold and clammy and sweaty has something to do with that as well. But I was just reading and covered up with a blanket with water when you came in.” He walked towards her and held out his injured hand for her to look at. “Please make yourself at home.”

Kevasi nodded and gently took his hand. She gently touched around the wound her dark black eyes swivviling to her fingers and his face guaging his reactions. “How does it feel? What stabbed through you?” She asked with a little gentleness.

He really didn’t flinch but she knew it hurt him. “Nothing stabbed me doctor. I squeezed a glass so hard that it shattered in my hand and the glass from it cut my hand.”

After a few moments later she let go of his hand and pulls a tricoder off of a holister on her hip. She then uses it to scan his hand. “Detoxing can be difficult. Though we have something that can help with it if you need some help.”

Nodding while she took care of him. “Like what doctor? I would say that I put myself in this position and want to make myself suffer because of the hurt I caused my fellow Marines and to myself…” He let out a long sigh....”But I welcome any assistance to overcome this sooner to be of use again and to start focusing more on healing than not drinking or throwing up.”

Kevasi looked thoughtful for a moment. She then nodded. “I believe I have something that may help. Diazepam and Valproate. The Diazepam should help curb the withdrawal needs, and help with the shakes, while the Valproate should help stabilize any mood swings. Though be warned, it will be dangerous to your health if you do drink with the medication.” She finishes the scans on his hand and nods. “I assume that you would want to let that heal naturally?” She asked looking at him.
