Kevasi entered into the Main sickbay. She had a medium sized crate which she held infont of her. She turned and headded to the office that was designated as hers. The door closed and a a few moments later the dr exited the room, sans crate. She took her time to walk around with all the patients that were currently recieving treatment, and spoke with everyone, introducing herself, seeing how the quality of care was and a few other questions that seemingly were innane however they helped her grasp a little of who she was talking to. She also questioned all of the staff as well. After a a little while she smiled and told the staff and patients that she would be in her office if anything were to happen. Then back to her office she retreated

Back inside the office, she saw the usual standard setup. Desk, 3 cchairs, a terminal. And she doubted she would change it much if she was honest she lead a pretty minimalistic and spartan lifestyle.

It’s been awhile since the good doctor has treated Shinzo’s hand and detox and since he was feeling so much better and things were going well for him, he decided to stop by and say hello and thank her again. Arriving at her office he pressed the chime to her door.

Kevasi sat at her desk. She was going through medical files on the terminal on her desk when she looked up. She could feel him outside the door before the chime. Though she didnt say anything until he himself had pressed the button. She dimmed the screen before calling out. “It’s open.”

When he pressed the button for the door to slide away, inside he would see that her office was mostly spartan and sparse of objects. In the center sat the standard desk and 3 chairs. Two on one side set at 45°angles to intersect with one another if they continued on. They looked a little comfier than standard seating. She herself occupied a high backed office chair. On the desk sat not only the terminal, nut a miniature figurine of a starship. Upon closer inspection it seemed to be a model of a Federation Starship named the USS Iyashi. Beside that sat a photo frame that faced towards Kevasi. To the port side of the room on some shelves sat a few medical textbooks as well as a few on pharmacology.

Kevasi gave a small smile and gave him a welcoming nod. “Good afternoon Major. A pleasire to see you again.”

Walking and seeing how spartan the office was, “Looks like my office.” He chuckled. “A pleasure to see you again as well doctor. I have been proceeding with my health as well as my mental health with great success. I just wanted to stop by and tell you again how thankful I am to you for your help. I know it was your job and all, but thank you, sincerely.”

“I am young, new to the position, and this is my first command of department. I haven’t really made connections or friends in my field yet… so no gifts or the like… I only had a replica of the Iyashi made because she is near to my heart.” She explained, though she also shrugged. “Plus, I see no need to have my office look like a medical facility when I am so close by.” She chuckled softly to herself and a sort of piercing kindness glanced upon her dark black eyes. “Yes it is my job, but I also take it up as my mission. I don’t want to be morally responsible for anything that may happen to someone due to my negligence. I know that Starfleet and the Marines may not get along that well. But really all I want is to make sure everyone is medically sound to carry out their missions… and when their not then I whip them back into shape… however necessary.” She said rather stoically. It was easy to tell, she meant business even if it would be a hard process for herself… she would help any way she thought would be the best course of action for someone’s health. “I appreciate your gratitude.” She said as she gave him a small smile.

“Well. I am glad to hear that. Maybe we can have our medical staff train with yours and vice versa to help each other out more? But I understand your dedication to your craft and field. I have always been like that myself until recently. I just let it get the best of me. It happens. Just please remember to take it easy and not so serious sometimes Doctor. I mean that it is ok to have a day or two for just yourself. I will bring you something to spruce up your office later, but I have to go now. Again, thank you very much.” He did a formal Japanese bow to her and then turned to leave.
