Kevasi entered into the Main sickbay. She had a medium sized crate which she held infont of her. She turned and headded to the office that was designated as hers. The door closed and a a few moments later the dr exited the room, sans crate. She took her time to walk around with all the patients that were currently recieving treatment, and spoke with everyone, introducing herself, seeing how the quality of care was and a few other questions that seemingly were innane however they helped her grasp a little of who she was talking to. She also questioned all of the staff as well. After a a little while she smiled and told the staff and patients that she would be in her office if anything were to happen. Then back to her office she retreated

Back inside the office, she saw the usual standard setup. Desk, 3 cchairs, a terminal. And she doubted she would change it much if she was honest she lead a pretty minimalistic and spartan lifestyle.
Dr.(Lt. J.G.) Kevasi Tulbrad

It’s been awhile since the good doctor has treated Shinzo’s hand and detox and since he was feeling so much better and things were going well for him, he decided to stop by and say hello and thank her again. Arriving at her office he pressed the chime to her door.

Major Shinzo “Oni” Honda, Bravo Sqd Leader, 2IC

Kevasi sat at her desk. She was going through medical files on the terminal on her desk when she looked up. She could feel him outside the door before the chime. Though she didnt say anything until he himself had pressed the button. She dimmed the screen before calling out. “It’s open.”

When he pressed the button for the door to slide away, inside he would see that her office was mostly spartan and sparse of objects. In the center sat the standard desk and 3 chairs. Two on one side set at 45°angles to intersect with one another if they continued on. They looked a little comfier than standard seating. She herself occupied a high backed office chair. On the desk sat not only the terminal, nut a miniature figurine of a starship. Upon closer inspection it seemed to be a model of a Federation Starship named the USS Iyashi. Beside that sat a photo frame that faced towards Kevasi. To the port side of the room on some shelves sat a few medical textbooks as well as a few on pharmacology.

Kevasi gave a small smile and gave him a welcoming nod. “Good afternoon Major. A pleasire to see you again.”
Dr.(Lt. J.G.) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

Walking and seeing how spartan the office was, “Looks like my office.” He chuckled. “A pleasure to see you again as well doctor. I have been proceeding with my health as well as my mental health with great success. I just wanted to stop by and tell you again how thankful I am to you for your help. I know it was your job and all, but thank you, sincerely.”

Major Shinzo Honda

“I am young, new to the position, and this is my first command of department. I haven’t really made connections or friends in my field yet… so no gifts or the like… I only had a replica of the Iyashi made because she is near to my heart.” She explained, though she also shrugged. “Plus, I see no need to have my office look like a medical facility when I am so close by.” She chuckled softly to herself and a sort of piercing kindness glanced upon her dark black eyes. “Yes it is my job, but I also take it up as my mission. I don’t want to be morally responsible for anything that may happen to someone due to my negligence. I know that Starfleet and the Marines may not get along that well. But really all I want is to make sure everyone is medically sound to carry out their missions… and when their not then I whip them back into shape… however necessary.” She said rather stoically. It was easy to tell, she meant business even if it would be a hard process for herself… she would help any way she thought would be the best course of action for someone’s health. “I appreciate your gratitude.” She said as she gave him a small smile.
Dr. (Lt.J.G) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

“Well. I am glad to hear that. Maybe we can have our medical staff train with yours and vice versa to help each other out more? But I understand your dedication to your craft and field. I have always been like that myself until recently. I just let it get the best of me. It happens. Just please remember to take it easy and not so serious sometimes Doctor. I mean that it is ok to have a day or two for just yourself. I will bring you something to spruce up your office later, but I have to go now. Again, thank you very much.” He did a formal Japanese bow to her and then turned to leave.

Major Shinzo Honda, Marine Aviator

Kevasi nodded and smiled. “That sounds wonderful. I am always up for joint task forces. Mayhaps they can teach me more about triage, as most of my expereice is clinical.” She chuckled softly. “Knowing one’s limits is important. I have heard that there is an exelent massage program that was designed by a renowned physical therapist… so I’m sure that relaxation is only a program or two away.” She gave him a warm smile. “I understand Major, thank you I would appreciate it. Be safe, and if you need assistance with something dont hesitate to call.”
Dr.(Lt. J.G.) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

Oh! We excel at triage and would be happy to do things jointly.” Smiling as he turned to leave.

As Oni was moving out the doors opened before him as Siraa walked in, a little bloody, her right shoulder hanging limp and at an unnatural angle and a huge smile on her face. She looked at a nurse. “Don’t suppose there is a doctor available?”

Mar Cpt sh’Rharror, Delta SQLD

Oni’s eyes widened as he saw his friend hurt. “What the…!” He was cut off by the very fast and effienct doctor.

“Hey Shinzo!” Siraa grinned, “Sparing session, today.”

Kevasi had seen past Oni, as another marine walked into the sickbay. She blinked a moment or two, and shot up from her desk. She quickly stepped around it. Rushing through the small office out the door, she gracefuly danced and turned around Oni, she propelled herself into the medbay.

There was an NLt. that had a PADD in his hand, kind of directing some people around. Even though Beta Sickbay was more suited to Triage, they were still making sure they were prepared to direct and take care of any emergencies on this deck as well. The Lt. nodded to Iris and gestured to a biobed setup. He inhaled to call out some names, and before he can utter a word Kevasi cut the man off.

Siraa nodded and headed that way, and sat down on the biobed to wait. She was tall and so needed no help to keep from jarring her arm.

Oni was helping to bring Siraa to the biobed as well. But he was just as short as the doctor compared to Siraa.

“You don’t have to worry about this one Roan.” She said as she pulled on a white medical jacket over her uniform as she headded towards the biobed Iris had been directed to. She then raised her voice. “Meliza. You’re with me.” A female Barzan moved off from a group of medical personnel that were working on a patient in critical condition. Another member filled her spot, as they moved from a recently sedated patient.

The Betazoid and Barzan women move toward Iris. Kevasi nodded and looked like she was about to offer her hand, but thought better of it. Kevasi looked towards Meliza and then spoke. “Can you get scans please?” Meliza nodded and grabbed a tricoder off of a nearby table and began to scan the injuries that Iris had. Kevasi gingerly circled around Iris, taking in her condition. “From the battle on the surface?” She asked tenderly. She soon added, “What happened?”
Dr. (Lt.J.G) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

Siraa shook her head. “No Dr. We weren’t on the surface. Hand-to-hand combat training. I turned put when I should have ducked under. Dislocated my shoulder.” She touched her lip the was busted. “Apparently I’m a little too slow today.”

Mar Cpt sh’Rharror, Delta SQLD

Kevasi nodded. She gave a smile and then pulled out a pad and pulled up her file, as well as the results from the scans that Meliza had taken. She also imput the data that she got from the biobed and looked thoughtful as she gave treatment.
Dr. (Lt.J.G) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

OOC: I don’t know how you want the injuries to play out, so I’ll leave medical metrics to you if you wish, or I’ll can make them up ^^’
D. Inman

OOC: A dislocated shoulder and a busted lip. Feel free to add whatever else you would like. Her medical record is in her bio.

IC: Siraa sat still while Tulbrad and Meliza took their scans and did what they needed to. She was pretty sure the shoulder would have to be set. That meant with her circulation and exoskeleton there would be a few days bruising, but she’d had much worse.

Kevasi muttered to herself. “Metabolics normal.. heart rate slightly elevated ofer recorded norms… understandable given the trauma… all other things seem normal enough.”

“Wow! I guess you were slow today.” He chuckled then got serious again. “But I am afraid that you were not slow and your mind was not one with you and I believe it to be my fault. You have been doing so much more since I made that mistake and I put your life in jeopardy. I hope one day you can forgive me Iris.”

Major Shinzo “Oni” Honda

Siraa put her good hand in his shoulder and gave it a squeeze. “Oni, Shinzo, my friend, of course I forgive you. We are family, we are Black Sheep it is my honor to be of help to you in any way big or small.” She grinned again, “Besides, I was sparing Fox today.” Fox was the fastest fighter in the Air Group, period, without equal. She was also agile and great with holds and submissions. No one went into the ring with her and not come out with aches and pains.

Mar Cpt sh’Rharror, Delta SQLD

He smiled warmly and patted her good hand that was on him. “Thanks Iris. And I would be in here as well if I went up against Fox.” He chuckled. Turning to the doctor. “I’ll leave her in your very capable hands doctor.” He turned to Iris and bent down and kissed her forehead. “Goodbye Iris. I’ll check up on you later.” With that he left.

Major Shinzo “Oni” Honda

Siraa chuckled as Shinzo left. “I swear he makes me feel like I’m still chasing after my older cousins in the caves back home. And I’m taller than him!” She laughed.

Kevasi looked up from her PADD and gave Shinzo a small wave. “Take care of yourself Major.” She then turned back to Iris. “Well there is good news and bad news. The good news is nothing is broken, the bad news is that resetting your shoulder will be a pain. I can give you a analgesic for the pain. A Dermal regenerator will take care of your split lip.”
Dr.(Lt. J.G.) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

Siraa nodded, “Whatever you need to do, doctor. I’m not overly fond of being in pain when it is not necessary. Do you prefer me sitting up or laying down to set the shoulder?”

Mar Cpt sh’Rharror, Delta SQLD

Kevasi smiled though she looked a little surprised. She went over to one of the stations and loaded a hypospray with something. She adjusted the dosage calmly before coming back over to Siraa. “It will be easier if you stay sitting up. I’m going to administer the painkiller, and then we will wait a few minutes for it to take effect before resetting your shoulder.” She said kindly, it seemed she knew how much it hurt to have a joint out of place.

“Whenever you’re ready.” She gave a smile and waitied.

Siraa nodded and tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck. “Proceed doctor.” Ebril would chew her out if she didn’t do exactly as the doctor said. He would be quite justified to do so. The idea made her smile.

Once given a signal, Kevasi raised her hand up and gently put the hypospray against the side of Siraa’s neck and pressed the button to administer the analgesic. “It kind of reminds me of the time I dislocated my elbow when I was a kid… I was brought up learning a martial arts on Earth called Aikido. Well unfortunately, one day I got paired up with a kid who was bigger and stronger.... and well despite how well I held him off in the beginning… it didn’t end too well.” She chuckled softly. While she waited for the medicine to work, she went over to the storage where they kept the hand held medical equipment and pulled out a dermal regenerator. Coming back over she gingerly fixed the split lip while she spoke. Only taking a few seconds of her story to repair the damage.
Dr. (Lt.J.G) Kevasi Tulbrad, CMO

Siraa face winced in compassion. “That is always a harsh lesson. I have never learned Aikido. When I was on Earth, I did take 2 years of classes of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.” Siraa fell silent as the dermal regenerator worked on her lip. After she nodded and took a deep breath releasing tension. “The painkiller seems to be setting in.”
