After the mission briefing wrapped, Freja made her way back to her ready room, intent on doing her own research.Settling behind her desk with a fresh iced coffee in hand, she pondered what questions she had about the mission and in turn what to ask the computer to search for in the database.
Leaning back in her chair, taking a thoughtful sip of her coffee, she finally spoke, “Computer, display any information about the star formations in Ceti-Gamma Binary system, in particular any important navigational information for shuttlecraft operations in the area.”
~Freja Andreassen~
OOC: I am back all, with a new computer. I’ll be checking AWOLs tomorrow, so if you want to avoid hearing from me, consider this your warning and get posting. And if you’re already posting, thank you. :)
OOC: You are saying we don’t like hearing from you? …
IC:Navigational hazards in the Ceti-Gamma System that are a threat to interstellar traffic. There are two.
1. The seasonal flaring from the two suns are not a significant hazard to starship class vessels or larger vessels equipped with shields. Risk increases with lack of proper shielding. Small vessels of shuttle class or civilian class are only at risk if they have less than Class 3 shields.
2. Gravitational shearing effects from direct line of space between the two suns. They are dangerous to any vessel. They are however, significantly marked with buoys and communication beacons.
- WookieeFreja made note of the information provided, it would be useful if they were going to need to run some shuttlecraft rescues. She then compiled a list of shuttle qualified personnel on the Chimera who were female.
Now hopefully the rest of her team were making progress with their tasks at hand.

OOC: I’m back, my cold is still hanging on (It just won’t take the hint that I don’t like it), but I’m significantly better.
After pulling a listing of female Starfleet personnel who were qualified to pilot shuttles, Freja leaned back and took a toughtful sip of her coffee.
“Computer, is there anything in the database about the pleasure cruise ship Empress?”
~Freja Andreassen~
OOC: Can I be of any help here while we wait?
-Kieron-
OOC: Sure, join the fun. :)
Before the computer could respond, the CO’s door chime sounded with Commander Lunan standing on the other side, he thought now would be a good time to check in with Andreassen after meeting with the CAG wing.
-Lt. Commander Lunan Farrah: XO-
The data on the Empress came through, eventually ..
The Empress, a Passenger Liner owned and operated by Sunstar PolyVentures was commissioned in 2371. It holds a standard crew of 2,266 and a full passenger list of 6,111. Typical accessory crew, including transitory entertainers and businesses may include up to 313. This liner is not equipped for exotic alien anatomies or atmospheres. Running at 110,000 tons, the liner is equipped with a SoroPulse Warp Drive capable of a cruise speed of Warp 6.5. Being civilian it is not armed and has Mk 5 shields. It is capable of a sustained cruise period of 60 days before requiring replenishment. The Empress liners operate only within Federation space and are insured by Wilson Wilson and Crabtree.Deck design and layouts are as in the diagrams attached.
Escape facilities include 16 attached yachts that can hold, with maximum space, 500 persons each. These are equipped with a one week life support supply at that density.

“Come,” Freja called out in answer to the chime, while her dark eyes scanned the data that started to come through.
