Kriv quietly walked into sickbay, looking around for a doctor, squinting. The bright lights were making his headache worse.

“Headache or eyesight issue?” A voice asked from one of the biobeds. A man in Black jeans and a tshirt with a prism that proclaimed ‘Dark side of the moon’ but didn’t say what moon lay on his back tossing a large tennis ball in the air and catching it again.

Kriv turned to look at him, an eyebrow raised. “Headache due to conflicting inputs from a cybernetic eye. Pardon my French, but who in the Prophets name are you?!”

Ryley raised both eyebrows and continued to toss his ball, “Bummer. That must hurt.” Toss, catch, Toss, catch. “Hydrocortilene ought to clear that up for you.” Toss, catch, toss, catch. “There’s a Hypo on that shelf in front of you, the one with the red ring around the handle. Knock yourself out.” Toss, catch. “But you’ll probably want to sit down after you take it, it has a habit of making you a little lightheaded and loopy for three to four minutes after it hits your blood stream.”

Is this man the Chief Medical Officer? Kriv thought. “Uh…no. I don’t take things like that unless I know for certain what they are. You also never answered my question.”

Zemta Kriv, Engineer

Ryley caught the ball and sighed then pushed himself up and onto his feet. He left the ball on the biobed and using his hand to support his bad leg limped the short distance between them and picked up the Hypo He had described. ”Fine let’s try this this way. Hi, I’m Doctor Alexxander Ryley, you look like you have a headache, bummer that must hurt. Hydrocortilene ought to clear that up for you. But you’ll probably want to sit down after you take it, it has a habit of making you a little lightheaded and loopy for three to four minutes after it hits your blood stream.”

He paused and feigned confusion. “Wait....didn’t we just have this conversation.”

Kriv rolled his eyes, grabbing the Hypo. “You don’t have to be rude, doc.” He took a seat on the biobed, before taking the Hypo.
