Ryley waited, watching quietly. After a moment he said. “Are your sickbay systems still operational. To treat your wounded.”

MD=^=The outer decks took a little beating, but the sickbay and the CIC are in pretty good shape. What I’ll never understand is they went to all the bother of putting the CIC in the middle of the ship but the Captain and XO quarters are on deck 2… Defeats the whole purpose.=^= she shook her head =^=Ridiculous absolutely ridiculous.=^=
Jen could not help but chuckle. =^= I thought the same thing. 20 decks of maze walking to get there. I’m moving my quarters down closer. =^= The marine decks would be a good fit, he thought.
JenA rather abrupt and girlish snort came from the captain as she overheard the conversation, shaking her head enough that her black curls swayed side to side. They both had valid points on the erratic layout of the Chimera’s ship class. She couldn’t say she was a fan herself.
Jen had been thinking. Of course it wouldn’t be that easy. =^= Commander, with this tunneling neutrino scan, that implies that you are a data projection which implies data can get through. I’m suspecting that a form of data receiver transmitter on each end of this would be successful? =^= He turned to the Captain who had called for the Chief Engineer. That was good. Once it got to these kinds of nuts and bolts that was getting past his depth.

=^= Yes Captain. We only have about 7 hours until the shields and warp core pushes our power systems to 100% utilization. Once that happens something is going to give as we can only produce so much power at a time. I was going to attempt to see how much energy we can conserve and potentially store to buy us some more time once we hit that limit. We can run the scan, it will just take away from those efforts. =^=
Katelyn made her rounds through all of her favorite curse words as she listened to Sutret’s report with a grimace. They needed to get acting on this and quickly.

There wasn’t time to give the Chief Engineer the entire backstory of her request, but she sincerely hoped that it would confirm what this alternate Commander was saying such that they all felt comfortable proceeding onward with the plan. She made her way over to Jen and his counterpart in time to overhear his last question of her. Standing on her tip-toes and appreciating her heeled boots once again, she murmured the information that Sutret had shared with her for her XO’s ears only. She wasn’t ready to let their opponent know that they were operating on such a limited time scale.

Ryley frowned at Jacobs. There wasn’t much he could do or say in this situation, since his sickbay had become a sort of temporal grand central station. He busied himself ensuring that those injured had received rp treatment and that the sickbay was being put back in order.

MDKatelyn cocked an inquisitive email at Ryley in response to his frown.
Jen nodded. That paired with the other Chimera as well. Time was limited. He was used to thinking at battlefield speed with actions taking place that quickly. At least until the ‘wait’ time in the hurry up and wait saying. Data transfer. He likened this objective to attempting to get to a forward position and disarm a bomb at a critical bridge. Given the situation of being ‘locked’ together they only really had one shot at this. While he waited for engineering to report he considered the marines. This was as much an operation as any and they needed to be involved. If nothing else to hustle the people to where they needed to be. Not glamorous but rarely it was. And a security detail here to ensure that there were no interruptions. =^= Is this the place for the tunnel for our operation or can it be opened anywhere? =^= He needed to know this. If sickbay was going to be ground zero this they needed to know.

=^=It warp distortion is greatest here, so the ability to pierce universes is also greatest here so its the best location for communication, but we probably could do it anywhere with enough power.=^= The mirror Heather reported. =^=Would you prefer the CIC or engineering.?=^= She divined what might be the preferred locations.
