Harris strode into the Briefing Room and walked to the head of the table, pausing to allow for the assembly of his staff.

Harris, CO

Amelia walked in behind Harris and moved directly to the replicator from where she took a steaming cup of Lady Grey tea with a dash of milk. Her stance seemed to ignore the ship’s CO while her eyes scanned the contents of the PaDD. She finally sat down at her designated seat to Harris’s right.

Lt. Cmdr. Manning, XO

Shortly after Amelia, Molly walked in in a hurried pace. Wright had just now finally gotten to the Bridge, set back by an irrational fear that, if she walked in the Bridge at the same time as Cal, the crew would suspect that they were physically involved. Not that they didn’t know it, but it put Molly’s mind at ease if she could make it not blatantly obvious. The evident downside was that she had arrived late. When the red alert klaxon had sounded she had rushed her step, only to get to the Bridge and see the Command staff gone.

Putting a few stray hairs back in place and readjusting the hairpins in her head, Molly sat down on an empty chair with questions flooding her mind. The citrus scent of Manning’s tea filled her nostrils and she wished she had had the time for her morning coffee, but, as the other senior members of the staff arrived, Wright didn’t want to get up and set the meeting back. She had already been too late for her standards.

Capt. Wright, CIO

It wasn’t long before Orin showed up. He stepped in, metallic copper hair neat, his titanium eyes bright, and his feet bare. He took in the briefing room and, after a friendly wave an nod to those present, randomly chose an empty chair to sit in. This was his first time in the briefing room on a ship. It was quite a bit smaller than the one on the station he’d been stationed on since his graduation from the academy.
