Ensign Osten stood outside of Lt. Ashur’s office on deck ten of the Dresden and stared blank-eyed at the door a couple inches away from his face. He was excited to start his new assignment, of course. But Wiles was also nervous about what information from the Potterfield mission on the Challenger had followed him to the Dresden. He expected to discuss it, of course. But he hoped it was not the sole first impression he was able to make with him new senior officer.Blinking a couple times as he snapped out of his internal machinations, Wiles made sure to stand up taller, run a hand through his short blonde hair, and hold his chin up a little higher as he pressed the chime on Lt. Ashur’s door.

=^=Enter=^= Came the reply to the chime.
Pacing behind a desk near the back of the room stood a man of average height and weight. He had tan skin with jet black hair, but otherwise had no distinguishing features about him. He held a padd in his hand as he paced, deep in thought. The padd turned over in his hand as he paced. He took a quick glance at the ensign who walked in, before continuing his pacing.
“Yes Ensign?”
