It was a few minutes past 0800, the Alpha shift had just reported for duty. Unannounced, a transporter beam materialized two officers in the middle of the soon to be busy Sickbay.

Molly’s concern was to signal one of the many medical officers on shift. A nurse, a doctor, the CMO, Holloway didn’t care. She just wanted someone to help them.

Speaking to the first person in a teal uniform that she spotted, she said in a hurried tone, as she tried to make sure that Forgrave didn’t move too much. “Can we get some help here? We have an officer with possible broken ribs, needing immediate attention. Please.” The final words came in a more pleading tone. Molly knew that they were going to ask her what had happened, and now that Cal knew there was no point in lying. All she wanted was to make sure that the Security Ensign would be okay. After all, he was there because of her.

Capt. Holloway, CIO

Out of all the officers on Alpha shift the nearest had been the CMO who had just been about to retreat into her office after ensuring a smooth change of shift. “Broken ribs at this hour?” She brought her attention more fully onto the pair, her eyes skimming past Halloway and apprised Forgraves condition. “Place him on the biobed” she ordered, switching out the PADD in her hand for her medical tricorder.

Molly didn’t need to be told twice. Helping the injured Security officer as best as she could, Holloway prepared herself for the questioning that was about to come.

As Halloway helped Forgrave onto the biobed, Janvier took the moment to try and figure out who Sickbays latest visitors were. Forgrave was easy, it hadn’t been that long ago since she had cleared him for active duty. It seemed like it hadn’t taken long for him to find trouble. Halloway took a little more time since she had a stark aversion to being caught in Sickbay. In the time that Janvier had been aboard the Dresden, she could count on her hands the number of times she had encountered Halloway. But her apperance, was strinkingly familar, and she had such an aura about her that Janvier knew she should know who the other officer was.

That’s Halloway her brain eventually supplied, ending the question why the head of red hair was so familiar. How had Forgrave gotten wound up with her? A security officer, and the chief intelliegence officer coming in together at the start of shift. What had they been up to while half the ship was having it’s breakfast? “Captain,” Janvier moved forward, rejoining the pair, her arms now full with a small cluster of medical equipment she anticipated she would be needing. “What exactly happened?”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

With Forgrave in the biobed, Molly stepped aside to allow the Doctor enough room to work. “Ah… holodeck accident…” Holloway eyed the Security officer. She knew that if she didn’t tell Janvier the whole truth, he would tell it for her. Not to mention, the Doctor would probably remember that it was not the first time Holloway had come in to Sickbay presenting the same reason she had just given.

Roughly six months prior she had come in with what seemed to be a spear wound in her right thigh, and had been expeditiously patched up by Dr. Bailey. At the time, Medical had referred her to Counseling after the incident. This time it seemed that someone else had gotten injured instead.

“Right.” It was clear that the Doctor had some recollection of the incident as both Dr. Baileys superior and friend. Janvier’s voice was as flat as her expression. It was very apparent that the Holloway was going to have to give Janvier more than just ‘holodeck accident’.

“I was having trouble sleeping so I headed to the holodeck hoping to distract myself… while I was adjusting my program’s parameters I inadvertently triggered an intruder alert in Security, which in turn, prompted Mr. Forgrave here to check the situation. When he came in, part of my regular training program had been activated, but was not responding correctly. As such the uh… beings in my program attacked us… Mr. Forgrave was injured in the process.” If the word ‘guilty’ had been written across the Intel officer’s forehead it would have been less blatant than her current behavior.

“Has he recieved treatment of any kind?” Elaine asked, as she started scanning Forgrave. She was desperately trying to hold in the sigh as Molly recanted the story. After a year of Molly and her holodeck ‘accidents’ anyone in Sickbay knew it was a matter of time before someone else got hurt. However, after Charlie had referred Molly to Counselling, Elaine had hoped that that would be the end of it all.

“Sergeant Reyes, patched what she could…” Brianna Reyes was Harris’s yeoman and a trained combat medic. She had been who had brought Molly into Sickbay the previous time. “If I remember correctly, she said she had patched some of the cracks on Mr. Forgrave’s ribs, but he would still have to come here and see someone for the remaining ones…” If scanned, readings would show that Forgrave’s ribs numbers four and eight had been cracked but expertly patched with an osteo-regenerator, but ribs five, six, and seven were broken. His back would show the remnants of large claw marks that had been rudimentary tended to but would probably need to be checked again, as well as a large bruise on his right shoulder, indicative of deep tissue damage.

Holloway knew it was only a matter of time until Harris and Jersey walked through the Sickbay doors. Gulping silently, she held her stance, hands behind her back, allowing some space for the Doctor to work. She knew she had screwed up big time, but she was more afraid of the possibility of having injured someone than of Cal’s wrath.

Capt. Holloway, CIO

OOC: I think those were all the injuries that had been listed before, but of course, Will, feel free to add anything to the readings you feel appropriate. It is your character after all, so I don’t want to mess with him more than Molly already has. :P – Joana

OOC: Yes, I think that’s the whole list, at least barring any miscellaneous scrapes and such that don’t rate as important in comparison. And don’t worry! As a security officer, I fully expect Issac to suffer in the line of duty! - Will

“Well Sergeant Reyes has done a brilliant job with his ribs.” Elaine confirmed. She kept her eyes focused on Issac and not Molly as she read out the scan results slowly and clearly.” Two cracked ribs, treated. Three broken ribs. Damage sustained to back, consistant with claw marks, treated. Deep tissue damage on shoulder.” For a moment she kept quiet, keeping her hands busy finding one of her bone-knitters that was refined enough for her to repair the damage done to the Security Officers broken ribs. Ordinarily the Intelligence Officer intimidated the young doctor, but right now Janvier was far too upset about there being yet another holodeck incident that she was afraid if she looked Holloway in the eyes she would say something heated.

Despite his silence, Issac was paying attention to what both Janvier and Holloway were saying; or at least, trying to. His attention was pretty well split - though the painkillers Reyes had given him were still working, it had been a fairly conservative dose. And the unexpected jostle from the transport, combined with the further movement from getting into the biobed, was doing no favors for his screaming ribs. Issac was focusing hard on his breathing, and his tight face and mostly-closed eyes hinted at the pain he was trying to suppress.

The pressure to say something was getting weighing on the doctor, however, and she knew she just ‘had’ to say something. She took a deep, calming breath as she gathered her thoughts and said softly “Those injuries could have been yours. You were lucky that the computer alerted Security. You were lucky.” The doctor maintained her focus on her patient as she administered a strong pain killer. It would help dull the pain that would come when she started to stitch his broken bones back together again. “These programs you are using to help with your sleeping problems are dangerous. It was only a matter of time before someone else got hurt instead of you.”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Molly remained in silence. Her eyes following the Doctor’s hands as she worked. She didn’t dare to say a word, instead she kept the stance of a guilty teenager who had just been scolded by their parents. Holloway didn’t really care whether she got hurt on the holodeck. Sometimes she wondered if pain was what she was looking for. She had always been an adrenaline seeker. It was almost like a drug, a feeling that made her forget momentarily the world she lived in. After the events of the previous mission, it felt as if the normal levels of adrenaline she had previously used to cope were not enough anymore. It was the hurting others that Molly had an issue with, and no matter how many times she assured others and herself that she never meant for it to happen, it didn’t change the fact that the Security Ensign was currently lying on a biobed.

Forgrave wasn’t sure what he had been hit with, but it helped. The sharp, piercing pain in his side quickly dulled to more of an ache; and he slowly eased the tension he had been holding in his chest. He kept his focus on his breathing, but willed his face to relax and his eyes to open fully; almost immediately wincing from the bright lighting in the sickbay. He continued to hold his tongue; a large part of him wanted to shout his agreement with the CMO’s quiet, condemning words, but he had already said his piece to Holloway - nothing was to be gained by him on that path. Instead, he focused on the doctor, nodding gratefully to Janvier.

Ensign Issac Forgrave, Security

Elaine gave Forgrave a soft smile, a return of sorts to his nod. Noting that the painkiller was beginning to take effect, the doctor set about on healing the worst of his ribs. She tried to be as gentle as she could with her movements knowing that even with all the painkillers he had been given, that the process was still going to hurt. The pain would be more tolerable but there. “Let me know if it hurts too much,” she said gently as she started working on repairing the worst of the damage to his ribs.

Lt. Janvier (CMO)

“Yes Ma’am.” Issac voiced his agreement, but he was focused on himself more than his surroundings. He held no real thoughts of telling Janvier to stop; regardless of how painful it might get - he didn’t want to interrupt the delicate work. As well, pride was a factor. Though Issac worked to ignore that little voice, he couldn’t always silence it - that was a trait that he had inherited all too much of from his late father. Instead, he consciously willed himself to relax, releasing the tension that he instinctively held in his body in an effort to protect himself from further injury. From experience, he had learned that though it may be difficult to do so, it almost always ended up being less painful.

Ensign Issac Forgrave, Security

In a futile attempt at introspection, Molly let her thoughts wonder as Janvier spoke to Forgrave. As her focus came back to the present, Holloway looked around sickbay for a moment, before pulling up a nearby chair from an empty biobed and sitting down. She felt horribly guilty. She wanted to apologize to the Security officer, and yet, it felt incredibly awkward to do so. Finally, in a soft tone, Molly turned to the Doctor. “Do you mind if I stay here? It’s the least I can do, but I want to make sure I’m not in your way.”

Capt. Holloway, CIO

At that moment, Harris and Reyes walked into SickBay. Reyes was immediately to Harris’ left, perfectly in step with the elder Marine. They appeared to be deep in conversation as they entered but wrapped the discussion as they were about have way across the room. Making a beeline to Holloway, Harris raised an eyebrow “How’s he doin’ Mol’s?” The Marine asked exhaling slowly.

Harris, CO

Bump

“He’s substained some substancial damage to his upper torso and back. He’ll be feeling a little stiff for the next couple of days but I expect he’ll recover fully, sir.” Janvier set aside the bone-knitter when Halloway didn’t immediately respond. “Sergeant Reyes has done a good job treating him before he got here.” she nodded to said officer, thanking her non-verbally.

Molly remained in silence, her eyes looking at Cal but not really acknowledging him or Jersey for that matter.

Letting the senior officers talk amongst themselves she focused back on doing what she could to repair the damage done to Forgrave. Even with all the work she was doing to repair the damage, repairing damaged broken ribs took time and the Security Ensign was going to have to take a couple of days off until they were no longer so fragile and the risk of re-breaking them was no longer immediate.

Lt. Janver (CMO)

Issac’s mind latched onto the phrase ‘substantial damage;’ tossing it around and fixating on it. ‘Recover fully’ got a warmer reception; though it still raised questions of bed rest and convalescence. Issac would never pretend to know himself as well as the archetypal monk, but he knew he did poorly with too much time on his hands - he hated to feel useless.

He tried to shake that feeling off before it managed to settle in; with mixed success. He felt the adrenaline fading as well; the painkillers were magnifying the crash that was starting to make its presence known. In hindsight, Issac knew that it was a real possibility that he was lucky to be alive - if he’d been a hair slower… but he was alive. Banged up, sure; but alive and whole. Along with Jo’Han and Holloway. And if anyone had to get hurt.... Issac wasn’t one to believe that his life was worth less than anyone else’s… but he knew he could live with it; so to speak. It was part of the reason Security had appealed to him - defense and protection of others.

Ensign Forgrave, Security

Dr Janvier, slowly put the bone knitter away placing it back on her tray with the other medical instuments. “Ensign,” she said softly, interrupting his thoughts, “Can you put your arms up like this…” she demonstrated lifting her arms up and away from her body and sucking in half a breath, “…and hold it for a minute? I want to tape your ribs for extra support.” the position wasn’t going to be an easy one to hold, given the number of ribs she had just repaired, but it would hold them in place until the newly repaired bones were able to do so themselves.

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Dutifully, Issac imitated the medical officer; hesitantly raising his arms above his head. Careful observation would show he was stifling a grimace; his eyes were half shut and he was taking shallow breaths.

Ensign Forgrave, Security

“I’ll be quick,” The doctor promised, noting the signs of strain in his body with her keen eyes. She knew from experience how difficult the position was to hold, so she made sure her hands worked deftly to secure the strapping around his chest. Tight enough that it wouldn’t be falling off any time soon, but not so tight that it was impossible for Issac to breath. She was also careful to ensure that the tape didn’t interfer with his other injuries if she could help it. “How does that feel?” she asked once she had finished, motioning for him to lower his arms. “Not too tight?”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Issac was always amazed at the current medical and healing technology; but he was aware of it’s limitations, at least in a general sense. While his broken ribs did indeed feel much better, they were still painful; and he could feel the wrapping doing its job to support them.

Gingerly, Issac lowered his arms and twisted in place, testing the new bandages. “I think that’ll work, Ma’am.” Issac managed a grin; “Already feelin’ better, though I reckon I oughta take it easy for a while.”

“You’re welcome,” the doctor grinned, watching Issac testing out the effort she had done and seeming satisfied.

“Ta that end… what do I need to do so this heals up right? I’d like to stay on yer good side, if possible…”

Ensign Forgrave, Security

“Desk duty,” Janvier knew that they were one of the most dreaded sentances she could say as a doctor, but there was truly nothing more remarkable than how much recover a body could do when it was allowed to rest. “If you take care of yourself you should be back to regular duty by the week out. Try not to lift anything if you can help it, if you have to ice your ribs and shoulder straight away. I’ve healed the wounds on your shoulder too, but they will be tender for a day or so until the bruising goes away. If anything hurts more than that you come straight to Sickbay. Understood?’

Lt. Janvier, CMO

The grimace returned to Forgrave’s face on hearing the pronouncement; though he hadn’t really expected anything different. “A week, eh? Well, I ain’t so foolish as ta ignore ya. I’ll have to talk to the Chief about my rounds…” Issac looked back to Janvier, grinning. “I’ll be good, I promise. I want this to heal just as much as you do; I know ribs ain’t nothing to mess with.” A thoughtful expression crossed his face as he pondered something. “Uh, I know I got hurt in the holodeck and all, but do I need any antibiotics? Those scratches seemed…” He started to move his hand towards his back, but quickly caught himself. “Well, deep. I trust yer work of course, but I sure don’t want ta fight an infection.”

Ensign Forgrave, Security

That made the doctor pause. “Are you prone to infections?” She racked her brain for what she could remember from his file, even as her hand’s reached for her PADD to search his file. Ordinarily she could remember most important details from a patients file but, well… it was a large ship so it wasn’t unreasonable for a detail here and there to be missed.

“No Ma’am, don’t really think I am… Just figure it’d be worth asking.” Issac shrugged noncommittally, wincing with the action. Gonna have to learn to be careful…

“From my understanding you were treated pretty quickly after receiving the gashes, added to that you were attacked by a hologram. From that, I would say would say that the likelyhood of infection for you would be rather low, unless you have suffered from one in the past or have a natrual predisposition to it. If you had been on an away mission or waited for longer than a couple of hours to be treated than I’d give you some antibiotics just to be safe. Antibiotics are one of the most revolutionary medical advances made by pre-space humans, but it has it’s shorcomings. Namely it can end up strengthening the bacteria, and weakening the immune system.” She smiled softly. She appreciated that Issac had thought to ask. Some doctors found it annoying, but to Janvier health wasn’t something that should be risked, even if it meant questioning the doctor. “All I’ve done is close the wound, I’m satisfied to let your body do the rest of the healing on it’s own if it can. However, if you are worried there is a special cream Trill surgeons like to use that I could prescribe you, it stings a little but it’s highly effective at preventing infections.”

“If you do think you have developed an infection or you exhibit any symptoms such as unbearable ichyness, redness, major swelling, unfading sensitivity or you feel overly warm or dizzy, pop down to sickbay and get yourself checked out. Or if anything feels… different to how you think it should. It’s hard to describe but sometimes our intuition can pick up on things we wouldn’t otherwise notice.”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Issac nodded along. “I’d heard of the dangers ‘a antibiotics; but never explained quite so clearly - thank ya. I know in the past, sometimes when I got a bad cut or somethin’ I’d get a round of antibiotics; other times it weren’t needed. I just tried to do what the doc told me, and kept an eye out ta make sure everything healed alright.”

“I reckon I ain’t too worried about it; like you said it was in the holodeck and y’all got to it quickly. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it though; if it starts looking like anything you mentioned I’ll come in straight away!” Issac let a big grin cross his face. “I sure ain’t so foolish as to irritate y’all; not when I’m relying on ya to patch me up.”

The doctor smiled, “I’m glad to hear it. Nothing irritates Sickbay more than patients not showing up when they should.”

A thoughtful expression found its way onto Issac’s face. “If it ain’t too much to ask, could you get me a write-up of uh, do’s and don’t’s while I’m recovering? It’d be helpful to have that fer my sake; and I’m sure Lt. Ashur would appreciate a copy as well.”

Ensign Forgrave, Security

“No problem.” the doctor typed a couple of notes into her PADD, updating his medical file. “I have to inform Lt. Ashure you will be on desk duty for the next week, I’m sure I can add in a few extra notes.” she winked. “Where do you want your notes sent? To your personal PADD or to your quarters?”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

“I reckon my PaDD is fine; I can always send it ta myself if I want to. So… desk duty, eh?” Issac sighed; resignation plain in his voice. Bah! Need ta quit complaining; I’m damned lucky and I know it.

“It’s just until you recover,” the doctors words and expression were sympathetic but there was an underlying hardness that hinted she would be unlikely to budge in any way on the matter. “I thought you might prefer it to being bedridden.”

Issac (gently) shook his head; “Ah, that’s enough complainin’ outta me.” Just as he finished talking, a yawn forced its way out of his mouth. “Reckon them painkillers are starting to take hold; was there much else I need ta know, doc?” At that, he glanced over to the so far quiet trio of Harris, Holloway, and Reyes - the question of if they had anything for Forgrave remaining unasked.

Ensign Forgrave, Security

The doctor shook her head, her fingers still dancing over the screen of her PADD. “Nothing further from me, everything you need to know is being sent to your PADD. Unless you still have to report what happened, I recomend you get some rest.” her eyes followed his to where the trio were before sliding back to her own report in her hand. After quickly proof reading what she had written she sent it through. The exact moment was annunceated by the notification sound on Issac’s own PADD.

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Molly let the Doctor do her job, clearly deep in thought. She felt bad for what had happened, but she was having trouble accepting she was the one to blame. In her mind, if Cal hadn’t forced her into talking when she didn’t want to, and if her training program hadn’t been restricted, nothing like this had happened. Why couldn’t people just leave her alone? And now, one of the members of the crew had gotten hurt because of it. She was at a loss, her head trying to find answers for what she should do and finding none.

It was the sudden silence and the eyes that seemed to be on her that made Holloway wake up from her dreamlike state. She shook her head. “I’m sorry… my mind drifted… is… is he okay, Doctor?” The question was stupid but it was clear that she hadn’t been paying attention. Not to mention, it covered for the one question she didn’t want to ask – if Sickbay needed something from her regarding the incident or herself.

Capt. Holloway, CIO

Janvier swiveled around, changing her focus to Holloway. “I imagine he’s feeling pretty tender right now, but if he follows my instructions to the letter, he’ll be fine by the end of the week.” With Issac all treated she didn’t need Holloway but… the thought struck, her eye’s apprised the Intelligence operative searching for any trace of injury, hidden or otherwise. “Were you also attacked by this holodeck creature?”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

Molly’s lips turned into a soft smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “No…” She shook her head, but even though Holloway seemed to shrug it off, her face became slightly paler. “… I mean… I was there, and was… one of the creature’s targets. But it didn’t really get to me. Not like Mr. Forgrave.” She had fallen. She might have a few cuts and bruises here and there, and she might be sore the next day. But it was nothing that warranted any concern. At least not in Molly’s mind.

Capt. Holloway, CIO

Janvier’s eyes narrowed as she apprised the officer. Molly’s answer was both an answer and… not. Although Elaine wasn’t sure if she would have believed Molly if she had simply said ‘no’ instead of the classic ‘I’m not as bad as…’ It was enough to ascertain that Molly likely had some form of minor trauma injury or injuries, but to what extent she required medical attention or not was harder to decide. Holloway wasn’t Sickbays biggest fan, at least that was Janiver’s impression. It wasn’t that uncommon, there were many officers who would prefer to nurse their own wounds. Some to the point where it was critical, but she didn’t believe that Halloway was that stupid. Was she? An image of Ensign Bailey flashed through the doctors mind, of the young girl lying pale on the ground struggling to breath. Bailey had been a doctor but in a critical moment both her and Elaine had neglected to check to make sure that the small bruise was just a small bruise.

Her hand was back on her tricorder before the thought occurred to her that Molly might not appreciate being scanned without permission. Perhaps she was thinking too hard on the whole affair, but she neither wanted to let Molly go without being examined nor tick the Intelligence officer off. She needed a middle ground. Mustering up her most convincing smile she asked “Mind if I give you a quick scan anyway? Since it’s all going to be on file, we may as well confirm that Ensign Forgrave was the only one seriously injured. It’ll help keep the books neat.”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

With the Doctor’s speed, Molly almost took a step back, but she managed to stop herself on time. Before she could open her mouth to speak, however, Forgrave replied for her.

“Ma’am? Iffin’ you’ll pardon me, you did seem uh… a bit out of it at one point, after ya fell…” Issac started to shrug before catching himself with a wince. “Mighta’ been nothing, but if there’s a risk of concussion ya need ta be checked out. Not that I’m lookin’ to tell y’all what to do ‘a course, just felt it were worth mentioning.” Issac’s voice and eyes both held concern for the senior officer; along with some hesitance.

Ensign Forgrave, Security

“That almost certainly needs checking out. Even if you’re head isn’t hurting now, you might notice something later when the adrenaline wears off. Since you’re already here now, it’ll save you a trip.”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

OOC: Oops… sorry… it’s been hard to juggle all my threads and I completely forgot about this one… – Joana

IC:
The glare Molly shot Forgrave would make the Ensign wonder if he was about to see the void up close the moment they stepped off of sickbay, but she quickly turned to Janvier. “Fine.” She muttered under her breath, before putting up a half convincing smile. “It’s been a long night.” The dark circles under Holloway’s eyes would make it apparent that she was at least being truthful about that statement. “I completely forgot about the fall.” It was only half true. She remembered the fall, but she had been too busy worrying about the Security officer to remembered what had caused it. It was all coming back now.

“I’m sure,” The doctor responded, her vocal tones were placid enough, but it was obvious Holloway hadn’t convinced her. The shadows on Holloway’s face spoke of more than one ‘long night’. She hoped that Holloway was at least seeing a Counselor about the whole affair. There was only so long a person could go without sleep. For a moment she briefly entertained the idea of suggesting a mild sedative designed to aide sleep, but with so many people around it seemed not the right time or place. Holloway had reputation for being a difficult patient as it was and without a Counselor signing off she would only be able to administer it to Holloway once. Biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself from going too far. First Holloways injuries. “Where were you hit? Did you feel any dizziness, nausea, confusion? How does it feel now?” she asked raising her medicorder slowly, and held it out in front of her. It was almost as if she was presenting the tricorder to Holloway and waiting for a nonverbal cue from Holloway to continue.

Defeated, Holloway allowed Janvier to scan her. There were a few scratches here and there on her arms, but nothing out of the ordinary. “I was hit by some sort of projectile. Here.” She moved her hair aside on her right temple to allow the Doctor to see it. A small bruise seemed to have been left behind, but nothing too serious. The tricorder would register it as an impact wound. “Lost consciousness for a moment, felt some dizziness and confusion when Mr. Forgrave brought me out of it. But everything seemed to fade quickly back to normal. Aside from the mild pain, it’s fine.” She smiled a warmer smile at Janvier, but it was impossible to tell whether she was being completely truthful or simply dismissing the incident.

Capt. Holloway, CIO

“It looks like the blow didn’t break skin.” As Janvier switched her tricorder for a dermal regenerator to, her eyes meet Holloway’s and she returned the smile. Between Holloway’s accounts, the scanners readings and evidence suggested she most likely had grade 3 concussion. “But given you lost consciousness, I think it would be wise if you took a couple of days to allow your head to recover.”

Lt. Janvier, CMO

“A couple of days!?” The question came out stronger than Molly wanted it too, but she had been genuinely surprised and a little bit fearful. How was she going to take a couple of days? She used her job as a way of keeping herself busy and when she wasn’t on the job, she was running around in the holodeck, hoping to deafen the thoughts in her head. “I…” Holloway gave Janvier an apologetic smile. “I don’t know if I can just up and drop my normal routine… I mean… it’s fine…” She touched the side of her head and a sharp pain erupted from where her fingers had touched. Her eye twitched slightly and she dropped her hand back to her side. “Wouldn’t just a good night’s sleep do the trick? It was nothing major…” There was a faint pleading tone in her voice, something quite uncommon for Holloway.
