As the Dresden sat in dock at Starbase One, a request to board came through from a member of the Trill Science Ministry. Seeing nothing odd about the request and noticing the prestigious organization that the man was a part of, it was likely that whoever was manning the transporters initiated the beaming sequence as routine.
A middle-aged man materialized on the transporter pad, dressed in a fitted white tunic that extended to his knees and with his hands clasped behind his back. His bald head allowed for an uninterrupted view of the trill markings that snaked up his neck and temples.
The mouse-faced man peered down his nose at the officer who was there to greet him. “My name is Cyon Cet. Please escort me to Renveer. I have something that belongs to him.”

OOC: Hey all! This downtime between main sims is a great opportunity for us to do some cool side-sim threads that focus on character development! Some of my favorite Star Trek episodes are the ones that deal with morals, ethics, and cultural differences. This thread will aim to explore the trill and their crazy biology/culture! Anyone and everyone is welcome to join, and I hope to keep the thread as open IC as possible. If anyone wants to be the one manning the transporter, feel free to jump in!
