Reez came to sit beside Mariah and the babies and held off grabbing Julia, whom was the closest, just content to see how they were wit others. “Yes, everything is fine. Our small intruders were reunited. Turns out the they are empathic and I have my suspicions that it might be more than that. Makes me want to go back down there and figure out the puzzle. Seems they were stowaways from the other ship that also had the cargo mix-up.”

“That’s interesting,” Mariah offered, frowning in thought. “Do you think that’s why the twins were so distressed?”

((Bump, I think. I don’t see another reply or another thread with this…I’ll understand if you’d prefer to skip this one))

OOC: Not at all. Just missed a thread during my catch up.

Melaia nodded. “Yes, I think so. At least, that is the hypothesis I’m working from. I can feel that they are much better, and given that our little friends are less distressed over being separated, I suspect that they were broadcasting their feelings and maybe thoughts as well and the twins were somehow perceptive to them. It’s unexpected at this stage, given they are only infants, but not impossible,” she said with a rather quiet sort of excitement. Her initial awe and thrill from the lab had faded so she could provide a more level backdrop for the twins who had had too much stimuli today as it was.
