When thinking of an educator, the thought of a broad-shouldered, warrior-like Klingon didn’t exactly come to mind. With beady eyes that would probably murder a student before her lips could produce the first ‘good morning,’ Echego wasn’t exactly the epitome of the modern major teacher. In fact, she seemed everything but that. A smile as guesome as hers would better serve a cage of lions than a school of pubescent teens, but perhaps looks could truly be deceiving.

Pinching the bridge of her nose, she tried to relieve herself of the thoughts of that nagging human aboard the transportation vessel. Echego could still hear her voice, playing on a broken record, antagonizing her ears in its high-pitched squeal. Shaking her head, she set her bags down, glancing crookedly about the small quarters. Honestly, Echego never spent enough of her time confined to a room, to much care about what her quarters looked like. Really, the ill mannered woman was more concerned about her classroom, rather than her quarters.

Throwing one last odd glance at the petite room, she ventured beyond its threshold, heading for the only area of the ship she could actually locate without needing assistance. Preferring to come prepared, Echego was always searching for a better understanding of the world around her, whether that meant navigating the local high school, or a McCoy-Class starship, painstakingly searching for a classroom. Despite all of the attitude she packed within that broad physique, she did have the brain to match and just enough compassion to make her elligible to teach.

The click of her heels the only company she wished to receive, she headed down the corridors towards the classroom, hoping it was better stocked than her previous one had been. Gha! She could still visualize the poorly stocked classroom, with its lack of data and poor access for students. How did they expect her to teach? Gather them around in a circle and speak to them, without them having the opportunity to write down notes or have any visual of what she was saying? Barbaric!

Grumbling at the thought, she rose her head, searching for the classroom, maintaining that odd hope that she wouldn’t be faced with a mess of what the previous teacher had left– if there was ever a previous one.

Ms. Em’ujo
Teacher

When Em’ujo reached the area that had been designated a classroom she would find only one occupant in it. He was a young Vulcan teen and he sat at the table with padds scattered about him, working studious on another. He appeared to be so absorbed in his work that he didn’t hear her entrance, that or it was the earbuds that could just be seen nestled in his ears under his untidily cut hair.
