With all said, and all almost done, Ember could almost visualize the end of the day coming near, which meant a shift in the morning. Which, without doubt, would have been far more entertaining than gallivanting about the ship, searching for different areas to make her check-ins and move to the next. Luckily, she had saved the best for last– not that any of them were particularly enthralling.

Making her way towards the office of the psychiatrist, in hopes of catching them in. Stepping up to the door, she pressed her hand against the chime, praying it was the last door she would have to ring, for the evening being.

Mariah looked up at the sound of the doorchime and smiled wryly in relief. It had been a long couple of hours of reading and charting, and a visitor was a welcome distraction. She stood from her desk and crossed to the door, touching the panel to open the door. It hissed open obediently and Grayson greeted her visitor with a smile. “Hello. Please, come in.”

~Dr. Mariah Grayson, Psychiatrist

“Hello, Doctor Grayson.” A warm smile came across her features, despite the anxiety she was fighting at the thought of this meeting. “I assume you’ve probably better things to do, although, I need a boarding evaluation done, if you don’t mind.” Kusinut wasn’t afraid of psychiatrists, nor the evaluation, she simply felt uneasy about them. Luckily, she usually didn’t have much to say to them, so most of them didn’t keep her long, hence why she found them to be the ‘best’ out of the three check-ins.
