=/\=Bridge to secondary sickbay. Prepare to receive injured and infirm from Carraya IV clinic. Standby for further details.=/\=

OOC: Any medical staff not down on the away mission? If not, can we get some medical NEs please?

-Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO

Dr Jarvis was sat behind a desk reading from a PaDD when he heard the message come through on the comm. Having swerved the academy he had thought it prudent to take a crash course in star-fleet protocol and so had begun devouring the rulebook as it were. A dull text to be sure, but one he intended to become well versed in. After all, you could not find ways to circumvent the rules if you did not first know them. He had also brushed up on things such as the rank order, of which he was at the very bottom. Uniforms, which it transpired he had been given something archaic, presumably the captains attempt at a joke. And the many functions of the star-fleet badges, something that was about to come in useful.

Dr J Jarvis. M.D

A few minutes later, Brad swept into the larger of the Owie’s two Sickbays, thankful to see he’d arrived before any of the patients.

“Dr. Jarvis,” he said, acknowledging the madman he was responsible for. “Are we prepared to receive patients?”

Doctor Jarvis looked the Commander up and down and gave him a crooked smile. “You make it sound as though we are inviting them over for afternoon tea, Commander. Had I known that, I would have put the kettle on and sent for plates of cucumber sandwiches and crumpets. However, if you intend to treat them, you will find the staff and equipment ready and able.”

Dr J. Jarvis M.D

“Excellent,” Brad said. “Though getting afternoon tea set up for their current physicians isn’t a half-bad idea,” he added, as though he hadn’t been planning it himself. “The menu could use some work, but the general idea is solid.”
