Anni ran a hand tiredly over her hair. “Umm, well, honestly? Everything. We’ve got med kits and really basic supplies like tricorders and hyposprays, but our last two shipments never made it and our replicator had been on and off power so we have saved our energy reserves for surgeries and trying to maintain sterile fields when needed. We’re just really short on basic medicines. We haven’t been able to keep a huge supply, though the Klingons did bring some down a few days ago. Priority meds would be analgesics, anaesthetics and antibiotics suitable for Romulan physiology.” Though she had managed to get time to crash on her cot, Rinne was feeling the deep fatigue that was wearing down all the clinic staff. She offered Pilar an encouraging smile since she knew the cargo meant for the clinic would solve a huge set of their issues, especailly after the new clinic was built.

~Mischief Maker

Pilar watched Anni for a few minutes “We’ll get those items sent down. When was the last time you and your team had more than 2 hours sleep?” She asked knowing that fatigue could lead to deadly mistakes “With all due respect ma’am, you and your team need to find a corner and get some sleep. We can take care of things while you do that.” Pilar said as kindly as she could, understanding that it was difficult to just turn over patients and clinic to complete strangers.

Rinne swallowed and nodded, though she seemed suddenly on the edge of tears. “Soon, very soon, I promise.”

She touched her comm badge =^=O’Keefe to Ogawa. We need to get some analgesics, anaesthetic and antibiotics for Romulan patients. We also need basic medical supplies including bandages.=^= She said as she continued to look around taking a quick stock of what they had to work with before she began looking at the patients and assessing what their needs were at the current moment.

Head Nurse

=/\=We’ll get them together, Commander,=/\= NE Patsy Forbrad replied from the Bridge, happy to actually get a call dealing with supplies and making herself useful in the coordinating role the XO had assigned her. =/\=Should be about five minutes. Do you have a specific quantity you need immediately, or would you like 5 kilos of each?=/\= she asked, getting ready to forward the request for supplies to Sickbay.

NE Patsy Forbrad

OOC: So, just to keep things all clear, there are no other patients currently staying in the clinic due to their inability to keep it entirely weather-tight. People like Ketra are there for basic treatments and check-ups and all their more serious cases are doing alright and recovering in their shelters where it is more comfortable. Also, don’t forget there are supplies in the cargo bays specifically marked for the clinic. Those are the ones they need to transport down.

~Mischief Maker

Pilar nodded “Please Anni, go rest.” She insisted “We’ll take care of things here and get things moving and try to get the clinic put back in some sort of order.” She said seeing the woman nearing tears. Pilar put a hand on her shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze “You have been working under trying conditions for a while, you are exhausted and need to rest so you can take care of the others.”

=^=Understood Ensign. The supplies should be in the cargo bay and are earmarked for the clinic. =^=

Head Nurse

=/\=Right,=/\= NE Patsy Forbrad replied, finding the entries in the ship’s manifest. It should be a simple matter to get them put on the cargo transporters and beamed down. =/\=Found them, Commander. Sending them down shortly,=/\= she said.

A few minutes later, crates began to appear around Pilar’s position.

NE Patsy Forbrad

Rinne watched as crates appeared and there was a moment of visible relief on her face. After a moment she addressed Pilar again. “I’ll go when people go up. I’d go crash in my bunk, but honestly, I want a hot shower and a replicated meal, something other than rations. I can wait to go up to the Ogawa for that.”

~Mischief Maker

Pilar nodded “I understand.” She said as she began moving the crates around and sorting through them and touched her comm badge =^=NE Forbrad…thank you.=^= She said and looked at her team “Let’s get going so we can get this lady a hot shower and some real food as soon as possible.” Pilar moved through the center of the clinic “Let’s start getting this shelter set up. ”

Head Nurse

=/\=Let me know if you need anything else, Commander,=/\= NE Patsy Forbrad replied. =/\=At least, until the end of the shift, I’m tasked with routing supplies where they need to go.=/\=

NE Patsy Forbrad

The comms chirped and the voice of the Chief Science Officer came through. =/\= Lieutenant Tressex to Lieutenant Commader O’Keefe. Ma’am, when you have a moment, there is something I would like to discuss with you concerning our section’s environmental analysis. =/\=

Tressex, CSO

=^=I’m available now Lt. What’s going on? Do you need me to come to you?=^= Pilar asked as she moved over to a quieter section of the clinic to talk with the Chief Science Officer. The fact that there was concern about environmental issues was a concern for her as that could lead to other issues.

Head Nurse

<bumps>

=/\= Oh no, I don’t believe that will be necessary. I wanted to warn your section, however that there is a storm front incoming to your position. I am transmitting the weather forecast now. =/\= and his voice was followed by a chirp on a nearby PaDD. The weather report read as follows:

A few seconds later, the CSO’s voice added =/\= We will keep you apprised of any changes. And if we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. =/\=

Tressex, CSO
Pilar listened to the broadcast “Okay folks, let’s get that roof shored up, find some tarps or something if needed to cover it so we can keep some of the rain out.” She said “Get the supplies into the area that is least leaky.” She ordered as she began moving things around “Also get the patients that are here in the clinic to drier ground now. We don’t need secondary infections setting in from conditions. Get the extra blankets out and get them distributed.”

Head Nurse

Tressex’s voice came through again. =/\= Commander, we have made the recommendation to Engineering that shield generators be deployed around the construction area. You may want to coordinate with them for any coverage you need. Tressex out. =/\=

Tressex, CSO

OOC: Keep in mind also that there is an engineering team outside that’s going to be tearing down this place shortly once the temp clinic module is built. There’s no patients in the clinic currently. The rest of them are in the camp itself. ~Linds

PCMO
Pilar headed outside “How soon until the module is done. We have a storm coming in and we don’t want to lose anymore supplies.” She said
