Willow nodded. “I feel like we need snacks for this.” She confided as she flicked through her own upside down PaDD “Mister Pierce has proven himself to be a particularly good section head since his promotion to the post. His reports are in order and very thorough…if he keeps this up he’s going to make full Lieutenant pretty quickly. I don’t however like NE Jenkins…her work is sloppy and her attitude isn’t particularly great either.” She thumbed the PaDD “I can see several notes on her file for similar. Maybe the ogawa isn’t right for her.”Willow Taylor
CO“I tend to allow the department heads the room to coach their own staff members. She is sloppy, but I don’t won’t to but in unless it becomes a real problem. I’ll keep my eye on her and follow up with Pierce.” She said all this as she made her way to the replicator. Snacks sounded like a good idea indeed.
Nodding in agreement Willow added to her notes. “Fair enough but if I ask for her to fix the creak in my chair once more and she adjusts my light settings and changes the water colour in my fish accidentally again instead I’m going to be very upset.” She watched Amari go to the replicator.
“Duly noted,” Amari replied before ordering.
=/\=Tekka-makizushi and kappa-makizushi with wasabi and gari shoga and two sets of chop sticks,=/\= it was obvious she knew her way around a replicator. “Is sushi okay? I don’t get to eat it as often as I would like. Andrew lived on the coast and introduced me to it.”
“Heck yes.” Willow agreed.
She returned with the tray and sat on the floor in front of the sofa, placing the food between herself and the captin’s upside down head.
Almost begrudgingly Willow did a half short of sit up so she could help herself to some food. She picked up a piece, dipped it and put it into her mouth.
“It looks like Engineering could do with a couple of more officers as well,” she said picking up a pair of chopsticks and dipping one of the bite sized rolls into the wasabi before popping it into her mouth whole.

“Agreed. Let’s send a note to HQ and see if personnel can send us someone.”

CO“Aye, Captain,” she replied. Amari tapped on the PaDD and quickly entered the information on the requisition form. The flavor of the wasabi and sushi swiftly brought her back to the moment she first met Andy’s parents. She smiled but didn’t indulge her fantasy any further. Those were mostly reserved for when she was alone in bed, drifting away to a time when her husband was still by her side.
“Next on the agenda, science.” She’d recently had some interaction with Melaia Reez and was very impressed so far. “The department seems to be running very efficiently.”

Willow nodded. “Another good section head. Mrs Reez has agreed to serve in a civilian capacity with us while her husband and she are on board. Which I am delighted with she has years of experience we certainly could all benefit from.” Willow smiled. “And their twins are beautiful, incidentally.” She scanned the PaDD. “The new recruit seems…interesting, again highly recommended.”
