Overall, while there had been some damage to the ship, power seemed stable. Engineering had pulled power from all non-essential systems though, to make up the lack of it needed to power engines, shields, life support and other critical systems.

“Power is stable though all non essential has been shut down.” T’Pris murmurmed as her hands ran over her console checking power readings. “That is an increase of power needs though, why would we need extra power to remain here? Is this space causing stress on our systems or shields?” She murmured wondering if the space was squeezing their shields or draining them somehow? That could be pivotal in coming up with theories of how to survive or leave this space.

The sensors showed large numbers of tetryon particles within the subspace bubble, on top of the unpredictable gravimetric distortions.

There was nothing putting extra pressure on the ship, though the unstable nature of this part of subspace made it more dangerous to be in. But the ship itself had been, as previously shown, damaged upon its entry into the bubble and many systems weren’t functioning properly. Power re-distribution proceeded accordingly.

Harry thought for a moment and then shook his head. “I don’t think we’ll be able to break free without more power but then I’m not an engineer…” he mused as he studied the results. “I wonder if there’s anything out there that could boost our power?” he wondered as he started another set of scans.

The subspace pocket did have a range of particles, and while they could hypothetically draw in more hydrogen with the deflector, the gravimetric sheers in the areas where there were a reasonable concentration made it a rather dangerous option.

As Harry peered at the results he tutted and shook his head. “Hmm, perhaps not, we might have to keep that as plan B…” he mused as he really didn’t want to be responsible for blowing another hole in the ship. Harry sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair, wracking his brains to come up with a some kind of solution to their predicament. “Any ideas?” he asked T’Pris hopefully as he was drawing a blank.
