Tressex scowled at the data, but began pulling all the records of the passive scans that were continuously running as the ship traveled for the 6 hours prior to their dropping into the bubble.

The CSO would note nothing strange until seconds before the ship hit the turbulence. Scans showed a surge of tachyons as the ship was pulled into the bubble.

Willow turned her chair to face the science station. “Well Tressex, tell me you’ve found our path back out of this place and how we ended up straying into it in the first place?” She asked in a somewhat hopeful but not entirely convinced she would hear what she wanted sort of tone.

She glanced at the repair team. “What’s my ETA on my helm working or do we need to get out and push?”

“Sir, we’re done here, but most of the relays along the way blew out. And I think I heard Lt Pierce talking about the computer core while he was still doing diagnostics. Soon? Um. =/\=Repair team to Pierce. Captain would like an ETA on helm control.=/\= Silence

Willow waited her head slightly cocked to one side.

=/\=Well, the computer core blew 23 [static] relays. I just got back from fixing that. But… with a little luck, and if you finished up, it should be working.=/\=
=/\=She asked if she should get out and push.=/\=
=/\=When you get back, I’ll teach you about the wonders of sarcasm.=/\=

A slight smile curled her mouth but then…

“So, is this what I can expect from now on? Surgeons jumping in on cases that aren’t their own, interns running amuck and engineering staff that can’t keep biobeds operational?” an irate voice said from behind the crew. Standing in front of the turbolift door was a tall woman wearing a medical blue uniform and white labcoat, her vibrant long red hair loose past her shoulders and an expression that could kill. “I mean, for heaven’s sake Jo, when you asked me to take over this circus, I thought at least the monkeys were trained!”

Turning Willow looked the woman up and down and blinked at her sudden appearance. Her mouth opened and closed again. She stood squaring her shoulders.

“My crew are some of the best in the fleet.” She defended her cheeks flushing slightly. “I am Captain Willow Taylor, who are you and what the hell are you doing on my ship,” She demanded.

The woman rolled her eyes. “Don’t mess with me Jo, I’m so not in the mood. I became your Chief of Staff as a favour. Now DO something about this mess! Or I wil, and I can guaranteed, no one will be happy in the end.”

~Mischief Maker

Willow’s mouth opened slightly and she stared at the woman. Was she serious? The overly authoritative response seemed to remove her footing. She blinked again and then frowned. “I’m sorry. But this is the USS Ogawa, a starfleet medical ship and I am Captain Willow Taylor. I don’t know who you think I am and who you think you are but I want to know how you got on board and what you want with us.”

She glanced at Tressex the back at their visitor. “Did you bring us here?”

Jonathan had made his way since leaving sickbay for them to check on his wife and kids to come to the bridge, feeling the room some he stayed quiet as the Captain spoke but sat at his post as he looked over the details on his nearby console.

Reez, CoP

Willow glanced at Jonathan and gave him a look that clearly asked have I gone crazy? Do you know this woman? she waited for the stranger to respond.

Tressex had been so focused on the tachyon data that he wasn’t paying attention to the new arrival. “Tachyons?” he mumbled to himself. He then began looking at chroniton readings of the subspace pocket they were currently in. “Maybe this is some kind of temporal distortion… or maybe an overlaying of two separate dimensions…” he said softly.
