“We should be pretty much done with the actual healing. Given that you fractured your wrist, a few weeks PT, nothing serious, but better to ease it back into full function. Rule of thumb, if it hurts; don’t do it. Anything else before I go?”

Melaia smirked. “No, thank you. And I’ll try my best not to overdo it.” How she’d manage that with twins moving about, well, her and Jon would just need to figure it out. She flexed her hand and turned the wrist, feeling that she had full motion. “It feels good, thanks again.”

Drake nodded. “If you want someone to check the kids, Dr Scott is upstairs, and Dr Lemann should be somewhere in all of this mess. Paediatric surgery is more my speed than paediatric medicine.” He looked at Cai, “Young Master Taylor, you were by the door for a while, anything interesting come in while we were here?”

Cai shrugged and pushed his hair back from his eyes, “There’s someone with a bread knife in their foot over there I think. I don’t know her though, looks like a science NE.” He looked at Mel.
“Will said I had to stay here, it’s apparently safer. Do you want me to like…I duno I could sit with the twins or something, do they like music?” He turned his mini PaDD in his hands. “Or I could help you find Doctor Scott…”

“Good idea. Teenagers babysit. Remind me later if you want to talk to T’Sara about physics. I will probably either be busy or in trouble for something, but I can set you up in off hours.” he looked at Mel. “Nice to meet you, don’t believe what your husband says about me.” He turned around and walked into the intake area.
“Attention sick people. Given the current circumstances we will be dealing with cases based on severity. Not first come, first served like usual. If the nursing staff will kindly locate the most gravely injured and direct them to a physician, those being myself, Dr Lemann, or Dr Yelchin, though he does appear to be taking a break to play Galaga.” the newly arrived Russian NE tossed a PaDD aside. “Dr Jarvis is currently in surgery, when he comes out, feel free to send every cut, scratch, and sniffle his way.”
