“So if I want garlic bread I have to claim you more, got it.” He grinned at her and his smile was devilish, but then it dropped instantly as her next words registered. “What do you mean you had to move junk? Allison I have no junk, what things are going to need to go into storage?” And so it began, he thought, the Moving In Debate about what exactly of his no longer reached couple standard and would need to disappear so that any visitors knew that the man of the house himself had been claimed.

Lt Rico Vanhall, CoS

“Oh nothing you are going to miss,” she waved his comment off as if it was nothing. Brushing off her hands Ally might have been flicking off a few crumbs of crust or signaling she was wiping the conversation clean. It would be hard to tell for the moment.

He simply looked at her unconvinced, narrowed his eyes and took a swig of his beer.

As if she was in the Galactic Poker Championships Ally Scott picked up her beer slowly and locked eyes with Rico Vanhall. “Besides you don’t even notice what is gone,” she said in a sultry but challenging tone. Taking a sip of her beer Ally waited for him to reply. If they had been in the holodeck and not room 826 the scenery might have been more desert like and far more dusty. The gray walls of the room would have been rock and hard pan with a few tumbleweeds blowing about at their feet. A lone whistling sound could be heard on the breeze followed by a “wah wah wahhhhh”. Maybe it was a desert vulture circling above them waiting to see who drew first and who fell to the first shot.

“Are you forgetting you you’re talking to?” Rico’s tone was equally challenging, and he still had his eyes narrowed. “I make a living from noticing things that aren’t what they are supposed to be. You’re looking at the Ogawa’s Weekly Spot the Difference champion, remember my love. I had you marked the moment I walked in the room, but like any good sleuth, it’s better and more incriminating to let you give yourself away.” He took a large bite out of the pizza, as if it was a definite exclamation point.

“So tell me Rico,” she toyed with the words letting them roll off he leaves tongue. Her tone was light and sensual. She had to win this first couple compromise. Unfortunately all of Rico’s muscles and training was no match for the skills and femininely assets Ally had acquired over the years. “Don’t look down. My eyes are up here chief,” she prompted him as she leaned over the table placing her elbows on the table. She had changed precisely anticipating the course of the night. She was not in the sloppy sweatshirt but a tight fitting tank top with a low scoop necks.

“Why would I look down, Allison, you don’t have enough room in there to hide anything that’s missing.” His words were cold, business like but didn’t match the intense effort it took for him to not look down. Rico absolutely loved Allison’s eyes, he could stare at them for hours. He could also stare at her other assets for hours and he knew that she knew that he could, and she knew that he knew she would use it to her advantage. But he knew that she knew that he knew that she knew, so Rico had the advantage. He kept his eyes on hers.

“So do you feel observant stud. Do you” she said slowly wrapping her lips in the top of the beer bottle and slowly allowing the tilt of the beer to fill her mouth in a long sip. After a deep gulp she let out a satisfied ahh sound. “Tell me what’s missing from the room you absolutely need.” Ally dropped the beer so it rested halfway from her mouth and halfway to the table. She rolled the top of the bottle in her fingers so that the bottom swayed gently In front of her almost like a pendulum. “Tick tock,” she said in a slow sultry tone.

“Do you have somewhere to be?” Rico asked as he slowly placed the beer bottle down, lifted his eyes to hers once again after a brief pause, and then raised an eyebrow. “Wow you really don’t have any room to hide anything in there at the moment do you?” He smirked slightly, and then lifted his chin to make sure he wasn’t distracted. “You moved my antique collection of GI Joe figures and vehicles. Do you have any idea how long it took me to find them? Every one is real, authentic. Not a single replicated copy. They were sitting, right there on the cabinet, all of them arranged and labelled. Now there’s an oil infuser and candles on it. Candles, my love. On polished and lacquered wood? And a doily.”

“The first time the inertial dampeners fail those figures would have fallen to the floor and broken. Think of them safely…tucked in bed. Safe and warm,” she offered with a head nod maybe towards the bedroom maybe it was just a gesture.

“They are plastic, they don’t feel the cold. Except for the cold, harsh reality of rejection.” Rico shook his head slightly. “My pictures of my favourite Fallout holonovels, the signed copy of the sword by the actor who played the Witcher in the last holomovie, the Dungeons and Dragons comic posters. All gone.” He pointed to the exact spot on the wall behind him where they had previously been, even though he hadn’t looked in that direction when he walked in. In truth, he had no idea if they were there or not, but he completely expected them to not be there.

“Baby,” she said in a sweet tone, “where was I putting those pictures of us from Natasha’s wedding. I mean if you don’t want to see me in that bikini you picked out while I was laying on the beach I can move it I guess.” She let the moment hang and took another sip of beer.

“You mean the one on Gamma Tiltium? The one with you in the other bikini or the blue? I don’t remember seeing you in the blue that much, mostly the other one.” Just for a moment he let his interest show through. Too much, he thought, he wasn’t going to let her win. “Maybe we should move it, I mean if it’s that one I really really like, I think we might be better hanging that in the bedroom. Then we can put my sword back on the wall.”

“Oh. Oh you didn’t really look at what was in the picture frame,” she waggled her eyebrows enticingly. “Hmmm how about I let you check it out in detail later. If you don’t like the image,” she let her voice trail off again. Was it the picture she was talking about. Her words were so unclear but the intent wasn’t. The frames should probably stay put.

“My collection of vinyl LP’s is gone,” Rico said suddenly and with real surprise, his beer pausing as he was about to take a sip.

“You know what,” she said tapping the table with her palms and standing up. Moving over to the box they stepped over, Ally picked up the box and brought it to the table. “How about we forget what isn’t here and concentrate on the few things I had a question on.

“You had no question about my vinyl?” His question was flat and pointed, but his eyebrow rose when he looked at what Ally pulled out of the box.

Rubber ball,” she held up one of those things someone acquired and had no idea why they even had it.

“Where was that hiding?” Rico said and reached out, taking the small rubber ball and turning it around in his fingers. It was a small smooth ball that had points for clips on either side like it was part of some kind of toy. Putting it aside on the table he motioned to the box for her to carry on. “What else, come on hit me.”

“Cadet of the Quarter,” she looked at the trophy and smiled.

He shrugged, “Yeah, that one was for calling drill right and coming top in the class for semester, but you know that. Look you can have that one, but we put my Witcher statue back, okay. The one of him killing the Griffin is rare.”

Setting it on the table she pulled out the last item. It was two metal rings that looked like bracelets but had a cord that seemed to attach them. Letting them dangle from her finger Ally gave Rico a very un-innocent smile. “Wanna show me how these antiques work chief and we can worry about what we don’t have in the quarters later.” She leaned back letting them sway on her finger.

Lt. Ally Scott. Pediatrics

Rico pushed himself to his feet, and looked at her seriously. “Ally I think this has gone on too far. Those aren’t toys, they are very, very old and have history.” His voice was serious but his eyes were playful, even though his LP collection was missing. He was going to have to get compensation for that. “Give those here,” he took the few steps over to her and put his hands around her waist.

“Nope,” Ally said playfully and held them up over her head. Due to their height difference, this basically nad them dangling in front of his eyes but Allison’s intention was not really keep away at this point. As soon as she saw Rico’s hand move up she extending her hand to the side. “I can do this all day chief. Ever try to check a toddler’s ears or run a tricorder over a kiddo when it’s a routine medical exam. I got moves you ain’t ever seen big boy,” she said sassily and rose on her toes giving him a peck on the lips before lowering herself to the floor. As Rico’s hand extended out she lifted her again over her head. The impromptu game of keep-away was only meant to spark a little wrestling of the adult variety between her and her boyfriend. Allison tried to keep a straight face but she was all smiles. This is how it was supposed to be when you lived with someone: fun and playful. She also loved Rico in this stern attentive mood. He was always so laid back but their trip to Orion had shown her first hand that an angry Rico, while someone you didn’t want to mess with, was rather enticing in the right situation. As his hand began to move again she let out a small laugh. “I am quite wirey. Maybe you should find some new moooo,” her comment was cut off by a bit of a laugh.

Ignoring her comment, Rico picked her up and sat her on the table facing him, then grabbed her hand and pushed it behind her back as he stepped in close to her smiling, looking down into her eyes as he held her in a position she couldn’t wriggle out of. “Don’t make me put you in my brig Allison,” he said to her softly, but firmly.

“Promises promises,” she taunted him feeling her heart beat rapidly increasing. Eight hours being apart might as well be eight weeks at times for her.

“I want to know where my stuff is.”

“I wanna know if the rumors are true that you can cut all sound and lights from a brig cell to silence a prisoner,” she said in a breathy voice locking eyes with him. “I mean have you seen the brig. It has 1000 thread count sheets and three meals a day. Sounds a lot like a senior cadets quarters at the academy but not school work. How do you ever get anyone to confess a crime or misdemeanor and want to leave?”

“I have ways of making you talk, you know.” His voice was low as he slid his other hand behind her back and took the antique metal rings from her hand. “Some of it is training, but most is just natural talent. You’re a doctor, baby. You know the limits I can push your body to if I want to to find out something. I won’t even leave a mark.” From behind her, she would feel a sudden cold metal clamp around her wrist and then a click, followed by another click.

The click took her by surprise creating a concerned expression at first followed by a slow lazy smile. As she brought her hand around she got a quizzical expression back on her face laced with maybe a hint of disappointment. “I am pretty sure that is supposed to go on my other wrist,” she pointed to the handcuff on his left hand. “Handcuffs. A pair of lockable linked metal rings for securing a prisoner’s wrists. Synonyms include manacles, fetters, shackles, irons, bonds, restraints,” she rattled out the definition. With her father and brother both in the Earth civilian police force a pair of handcuffs lying about wasn’t that exotic or novel of a thing. “How is this going to make me talk,” she held up her wrist and in the process made his dangle below hers.

“Now, you aren’t getting away from me until I get the information I need.” Rico smirked as he brushed his lips gently against hers, then picked her up notably with one arm around her waist. His other arm seemed to be right beside hers.

Lt Vanhall, CoS

“Why Lt Vanhall I am pretty sure you have not Mirandized me. Maybe you should tell me the charges before you ship me off to Rico’s Hooskal of Confession.” Ally had a hard time being playful as his lips brushed hers. Rico was not kissing her. In fact, Ally wasn’t sure if he was even actually touching her but he was so close. She could feel his breath wash over her neck and shoulders. The smell of his cologne filled her senses further confusing her mind. She was almost eyes level with him sitting on the table but she could not see him. Her eyes were closed as she let all her other senses explore the man in front of her. The feeling of his arm around her waist seemed to tighten or loosen. Ally couldn’t tell as she let Rico make the next move. Her brain was in overdrive processing the small environmental sounds trying to figure out what Rico’s next move was going to be. Frankly, Ally didn’t care. As long as she was with him Ally was happy with her spot in the universe.

“Rico’s Hooskal doesn’t work that way,” he said to her softly, letting his lips continue to brush hers. “See the way it works, is I convince you to confess to everything, everything whether you are guilty or not. After that I tell you the charges, and then we work out some other way for you to make reparations for all the other things you confessed to, I take bribes, if they are good enough.”

“I spend my days telling people this won’t’ hurt,” Ally said in a soft and gentle tone. It was the same soft reassuring tone she used right before she stabbed you in the arm with a hypo. She hooked her one free hand into the waistband of his pants and pulled him tightly to her hips. “As to bribes,” she smiled and shrugged. “I work in promises chief.” Ally let her teeth rake her bottom lip as she drew out the /f/ sound in his title. “And I don’t break promises so bribes so,” she made a snick sound with her mouth indicating disbelief, “you might need to go the interrogation route because I am going to resist arrest. See I have this hot as hell boyfriend and he taught me a few things. I can hold my own so do your best.” Ally’s taunt was almost a whisper and her eyes never left Rico’s.

He led up the arm that was handcuffed to Ally’s and then grinned. “See like this, you can’t get away from me. You are mine, little bird.”

“Of course I am I mean I just turned your quarters into a love nest.” Ally could not keep up the sensuous diva after that comment and broke into a fit of laughter. “Okay okay sorry,” she laughed dropping her head to his chest. It was a terrible come on line but it went so well with the little bird nickname that she couldn’t resist. After taking a second she looked up still grinning. “Just give me a second and I will get myself back under control,” Ally promised but still felt a tad bit fun and silly instead of amorous and sensual.

He picked her up from the table then, and walked to the wall where she had removed his pictures and posters and hung the photo’s of their trip to Gamma Tiltium. Pressing her up against the wall, he leaned into her. “You said I should examine what’s on this wall more closely, didn’t you?” He asked and ran his lips along her neck, lifting his handcuffed hand so that it forced her hand above her head as well and resting it on the wall. “I’m going to have to examine it in detail, where did you put my things?”

Lt Vanhall, CoS

“Okay that is so doing it,” Ally moaned a little and arched her neck to give him more real estate to play. “I am not feeling giggly.” Ally let Rico press into her. She loved the weight of his body on her. As he pressed into her Ally was not able to move or shift positions. Shivers shook her body as her breath increased rapidly. Ally’s tongue poked out slightly moistening her lips and buying a moment for her to find words. Her mind was growing fuzzy as her skin erupted in goosebumps. She could not control the adrenaline jerks that made her twitch under his body.

“I love you Rico,” she said enjoying every second that their foreplay had built up. Rico had a way of controlling everything and anyone in a room whether it be official or off duty such as this. Jumping up slightly she used the momentum to give her a couple of inches to wrap her legs around his waist. She didn’t doubt for a second that he wouldn’t catch her. Rico was always right there even when she wasn’t expecting it. “Take me to our room,” she whispered softly. “And let the interrogation begin but make it slow,” she whispered. “Tonight I need to feel like you are mine.”
