It was an old earth tradition but a fun one. As the date approached Willow decided it was time to blow off a little steam. So with that in mind she had organised the lounge to be prepared for a small ship wide party in the spirit of the old earth tradition. She had the message sent to all crew who would be off duty inviting them to the lounge at 8pm and that fancy dress was a must.The lounge was decked out in blacks and orange with carved pumpkin heads scattered around the room. Cobwebs and spiders and bats hung from corners and ceilings. She smiled as she stood in her costume and surveyed the food and refreshments.
“Well either this is a little bit much or you really need to fire the cleaning staff.” Cai said as he entered and walked to his sister. He was dressed as he normally was but had switched his purple hoodie for a black one that had bones on it.
Willow, dressed in a 19th century dress complete with hat frowned at him. “I thought I said costumes Cai?” She asked.
Cai took a handful of crisps from a bowl and munched looking down at his bones. “I am. Isn’t it obvious I’m a skeleton.”
Willow shook her head and looked to the door waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive.

The doors opened and in walked Duvosa. While she was not normally one for such silly social encounters, she had been prompted by her initial evaluation with Lt Darren to broaden her horizons.
For the occasion she wore a blue gingham jumper dress over a short sleeve white shirt. On her feet where a pair of red low heels with white Bobby socks. Draped over one wrist was a small basket.
Entering the room and looking around, Duvosa made her way over to the Captain and the young man she hadn’t met before.
“Hello,” she said.
