Tressex saw the incoming file appear in his messages and blinked twice before he realized that it wasn’t a mistake and the file was meant for his review. “Ah, a new crew member. Let’s see… ” and he brought up the file and began his review.After a few minutes, he nodded enthusiastically to himself and tapped the comms on his desk. =/\= Lieutenant JG Pe.. Pt.. Petrakos? Yes, that sounds right. Lieutenant JG Petrakos , please come see me in my office when you are free. Oh, this is the Chief Science Officer. Hello! =/\= and he closed the comms and went back to reading the file before him.

OOC: Hey sorry about taking a minute to respond. My classes have just started up so I’m still adjusting my schedule. Thank you for bumping it to get my attention.
Achilleas was in the midst of unpacking his meager belongings when the call came in. He had an antique telescope halfway assembled with the fragile lens in his hand right then. Feeling a little panicked and rushed to respond, he juggled the lens for a second before deciding to slow down and put it back in its case. With that done and having taken a deep breath of relief, Achilleas walked over to pick up his comm-badge and tapped it to respond, =/\=Hello to you too Chief. I’ll be right there.=/\=
Having given his quarters a once over to make sure nothing would implode in his absence he pinned his comm-badge on before heading out the door. A few minutes later, and with the computer to help guide him, Achilleas successfully made it to the CSO office and pressed the door chime.
