The rest of Ana’s shift had passed quickly as she reviewed the various messages that she had received from Ogawa crew and added notes to the files of her patients that she had seen recently. Before long, an alert dinged, informing her that it was 1830. She briefly pondered if she should return to her quarters to change out of her uniform, but she decided that it was not necessary in order to engage in her meal with a companion. She did take a moment, however, to run her fingers through her chin-length black hair, and then tucked it neatly behind each of her ears, out of her face. She rocked to her feet moments later, smoothed her uniform carefully, and made her way to the lounge.Seeing that she was the first of the pair to arrive, Ana settled into a table for two near a window and scanned the other crew gathering to enjoy a meal, content to people watch until Duvosa made her appearance.

“Hello there,” A sultry voice said from off to Ana’s left side. Standing there, holding a glass of a dark liquid with a few ice cubes in it, was Duvosa. She had on her duty uniform and looked rather the same as she did when she had been in Ana’s office. However, there was a little bit more softness in her face, and her lips were curled at the ends ever so slightly into what appeared to be a small smile.
Taking the empty seat across from Ana, Duvosa sat, sipping her drink. “Good to see you again.”
