A man of olive toned complexion stood in front of the door to the Captain’s office. He ran a hand through his unruly hair to make sure it was at least attempting to lay down. He then tugged on his tunic to straighten it out a bit before finally reaching out to press the chime.Lt Jg Petrakos, Sec

“Come in!” The voice from inside the room called. When the door opened Willow appeared to be attempting to feed her fish. Well that’s what it looked like, In actuality she stood holding the can of fish flakes and trying to work out where the access hatch to the built in tank on the wall was. It didn’t seem to want to be found however.
She turned and glanced the man in blue up and down, failing to recognise him at first. “Yes Lieutenant, how can I help you?”

COAchilleas stepped closer to the Captain, his attention taken by the fish in the tank for a moment. He refocused on the CO before replying, “Lieutenant Petrakos reporting Captain. I’m a new science officer assigned to the ship. Do you… need some help there, Captain?”

Willow glanced back at the Scientist then back to the fish. She smiled. “No, thank you…please come in.” She indicated the chair in front of her desk. “Can I offer you some refreshment?”

COAchilleas sat in the offered seat and crossed a leg.
“I wouldn’t mind something light and carbonated if you don’t mind.” He responded to her offer.

Willow replicated a peach ice tea for herself and a carbonated water for Achilleas. She sat opposite and put his drink on the desk in front of him, “welcome to the ogawa,” she said and took a sip of her own drink.

COAchilleas took a drink of the refreshing water and sighed in contentment.
“Thank you for the welcome Captain. I’m really looking forward to being aboard. So many fascinating possibilities out in space.” He grinned as he gushed enthusiastically.

Willow smiled as she listened to him. “Indeed. So tell me about your previous postings.” She asked. “Is this your first assignment to a medical ship.”

COAchilleas smiled enthusiastically, “This is my first assignment on any ship since the Academy. You and your ship are my first. I’m really looking forward to the mysteries to be found in conjunction with where we meander.”
CSO Petrakos
Willow smiled. “You come very highly recommend.” She tapped a PaDD on her desk. “In fact, it was noted that your leadership and field knowledge was recorded as exceeding all expectations. It just so happens that I may have an opportunity to enable that if you’re interested.” She sipped. “How do you feel about fast tracking your career Lieutenant?”

Achilleas was initially taken aback. This offer on the first meeting was obviously unexpected. He quickly thought of what the offer entailed but just as quickly put them aside while he responded. “I’m interested, of course. While my interests lie in figuring out the cosmos and everything in it, I’m also aware that a higher position in Starfleet will make my pursuit… easier. What is this opportunity you speak of?”
