Willow followed and sank into the chair opposite Darren. She watched the jar of sweets a second then reached for it, looking for a blue one she popped it into her mouth and pondered the question. “I’m happy to discuss anything you’d like Doctor, my fitness for duty is one element of my mental health but not the entire thing so whatever you think is best to discuss.” She shook her head at offer of a drink “no thank you, the lollipop is good for now,”

COAna watched curiously as Taylor selected a blue confection and enjoyed it, reflexively holding out a small waste basket for the wrapper as she opened it. She set it down carefully and then stared at it for a moment to gather her thoughts. “Would you say that your mental health affects your fitness for duty?” she finally asked, somewhat bluntly.

Willow dropped the wrapper into the offered basket. “Thank you.” She said and pondered as Darren spoke. “I would say your mental health affects everything you do, it’s a difficult task to find balance between work life and life life…so in general I think everyone’s mental health affects their fitness for duty not just me personally.”

COAna neatly tucked the basket away without displaying any obvious attention to the task; it was clearly routine for her. “But this evaluation is regarding your personal fitness for duty, is it not?” she queried Taylor, an eyebrow raising to emphasize her point.

Willow smiled around the lolly. “Yes but you asked a rather open ended question and so I gave you an open ended answer.” She sucked a second. “Personally, I think my mental health definitely impacts on my fitness for duty. I did so as a Doctor and I do in Command, that’s why I am an advocate of counselling and routine evaluations.”
