OOC: IF you need me to play an NE, let me know. Zoi will be doing a lot of coordination and not a lot of Sec work she is divvying out. Duvosa would be good here too! (Just a note: crewman training might be different, but it isn’t that different. Zoi is just ordering basic SecOps procedures he should be well versed in. In order to be placed on a ship, he would have to know this stuff or else he would be a security risk. If you have something in mind that deviates from this, I need to know it, Email me.)

Zoi nodded with some finality. “I mean it, I am open to any and all questions, concerns and comments. Come to me at any time. Dismissed.” And with that, she loitered as many got up to begin getting to work. She typed things into her PaDD and seemed relaxed.

OOC: No I’m good, was just an offer. I’ll potter on with a bit of self development. I Was going for the young, nervous and unsure crewman look rather than clueless.

Gordon finished taking notes and slotted his PaDD into a pocket before turning to Shran, “Good to go.” He said unconsciously checking his tricorder and phaser were still attached to his hip. Shran nodded and motioned for Gordon to follow as they left the room, the older Andorian nodding to an older Vulcan Chief Petty Officer who was detailing some other crewman to tasks. Within minutes the pair had stepped into the turbo lift and were walking out onto a rather deserted bridge, besides the bare minimum crew needed during alongside watch duties.

Gordon was impressed, as he almost always was, with the bridge, it was a “sunken” style bridge with modern Starfleet technology but even Gordon could spot the older style of the construction compared to the Chandley or Manhattan class he’d visited during his basic training. Gordon was torn away from sight seeing by Shrans reappearance at his side, the Andorian had already went over to the officer in charge and Discussed their task while Gordon had been distracted.

“First time on the bridge?” The Andorian asked, nodding towards the bridge. Gordon nodded as his eyes swept over the room again, the numerous stations usually full and bustling now empty and silent. The Andorian smirked and said, “Try not to get too blinded by it, it’s a room like any other. I’ll start port side, you hand starboard. Deck head to deck plates, understood?” Gordon simply nodded back, his mind jumping back to the routines of sweeping and clearing the room from the top down.

He walked over to the starboard side of the room, heading towards the view screen and removed his tricorder. He started with a wide area scan then moved onto a finer detail scan as he moved along the bulkhead, working in sections so as to be thorough.
