Jenyfer let out a sigh of relief as the Doc regained some of his senses and smiled. “Welcome back, Doc. I’m Jenyfer, your new virologist. I believe official check ins can be saved for later?” She laughed slightly. “Now, can you tell me who you are and what your next appointment is?” She knew the second half of the question was a ruse. With any luck at all *tea with the Queen” wasn’t going to be his answer. She reached over to the console beside her and had the computer run a bioscan on him as she waited for his answer. With any luck at all, the quarantined air and the antidote had erased the spores and returned her supervisor to her.

Virologist“Virology? So then you figured out what was going on down in the corridor? What was it? Did I get it? What am I doing here?” Brad asked, completely ignoring the second part of the question.
=^=Bonner to sickbay. De have a time line on how long until the compound is in the ventilation system? The captain would like to know.=^=
Lt. Bonner, AMOSeeing that Jenyfer was occupied with the rabbit, NE McGuffin tapped his Commbadge and responded to Bonner =/\= For the whole station? Engineering is telling us it could be as much as two hours to recirculate the whole ship but we are targeting specific areas first. We should have all the compound we need in about half an hour. So two to three hours before the station is purged.=/\=

Some minutes later, Willow and Alexis entered. Still in her massive dress the red haired captain looked around the assembled crew and pulled a face as the lace collar of the dress rubbed uncomfortably at her neck. Nervously she glanced around and spotted Brad then searched again until her eyes met the blue haired mop of hair that could only be cai. Her whole frame relaxed and she turned her attention back to the staff shooting the chief of staff a ’Dont you dare laugh at what I’m wearing’ look and said. ”Report?”
Brad caught the look, and screwed his face into a ‘Why would I laugh?’ response. The dress, OK fine, it was the hairstyling that was the funny part.
Willow Taylor
COThough the captain could see into sickbay they could not enter without going into the decontamination area. “Captain,” Alexis waved towards the decontamination chamber. “We’ll get clean uniforms after.” She stepped into the chamber and behind a curtain and allowed the system to do its work. She donned a fresh uniform and stepped into the infirmary. She looked over at Jennyfer and nodded walking over to see how she and Dr Walker were fairing.
Lt. Bonner, AMO“You’ve taken charge, then, Lieutenant?” Brad asked, relieved to see his new number two was on top of things.

Chief of StaffAlexis nodded, “Yes sir. At least here in the med bay. The XO and COP have taken over locating our patient zero however. They are headed down to crew quarters to try and identify the patient and treat him or her. Jenyfer really did an amazing job creating the antidote. Everyone in here has performed above and beyond. There is also a team going into the duct work to get rid of the infection. I’m afraid I only know everyone by sight though. We didn’t exactly have time for pleasantries.”
Lt. Bonner, AMODe-Contaminated and now in a basic uniform jumpsuit, Willow returned and followed hearing the end of Alexis’ report. She raised her eyebrows at Brad. ”I was going to say you wouldn’t believe what just happened to me but I guess you might?” she said to him.
“At least you got a cool hallucination. I turned into a neurotic mess, and I still kind of want a cup of tea and a carrot,” Brad retorted. “Also, a pocket watch, just for the aesthetic.”
“Well that’s not different than normal, you must be cured.” Willow Quipped.
“Ha ha,” Brad deadpanned back.
Moving to a computer terminal she opened a channel =^= Taylor to Myqian. Did you hear the joke about the delirious Captain, Commander?=^=

Chief of StaffJenyfer stepped back in silence as the Command Staff came together and put things in order for one another. She checked her console and made sure there wasn’t any way to speed up the process to assist in making the ship cleaner, faster. She didn’t realize her back was now to everyone and she started humming absently like it was a normal day at her station figuring out how best to finish mopping up the problem.

VirologistAs she waited for the promised update from the XO Willow turned to Jenyfer. “I’m sure that both you and Lieutenant Bonner must think we are all mad.” She said almost apologetically. “Th k you both for your hard work and speedy remedy to our current situation.”

Chief of StaffJenyfer smiled. “Thank you, Sir. It’s why I came here.” She laughed lightly and shook her head. “Though I have to admit, I didn’t think I would be curing the Command Staff before checking in with them.”

Virologist“It’s not exactly a picnic for us either,” Brad replied with a sulky tone. “That said, you’ve certainly proved your qualifications.”

Jenyfer laughed with a nod of her head. “Thank you. So I have the job?” She joked because as an official duty station, she knew she was staying. “So what else can I help with? Also, we all checked ourselves when we got here, so my latest scans are on file. No need to do them again. Unless you want to just to be sure you remember how.” She was glad he was feeling better. Coming into the madness had been a bit disconcerting. She was certainly going to need a stiff drink when time permitted.
