Her off duty time was becoming both a precious period and one that seemed to trickle through her grasp like water. Therefore when the day finally came along She had such great plans to sleep in and then eat breakfast at noon and sit in her lounge wear and watch starbase hospital.

The day had gone wrong almost immediately, she had woken at 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep. Breakfast once it was in front of her didn’t look as appealing and fifteen minutes into her episode then events of the ogawas last mission came crashing back and she found she had lost both her appetite for the series and for the half touched food.

She had tried to clean but the temporary quarters didn’t really need it, sparse as it was. So instead Willow found herself in civilian clothing, walking along the promenade. Watching the coming and goings on around her.

He had been waiting for this moment, a Chaplain like a ship’s counselor was adviser to the Captain. Korak was not a Klingon to wait on others, he made his own opportunities. He new the value of stealth tho, and wile he would creat opportunities he would not do so to the detriment of his charges.

“Hello Captain Taylor” A deep voice almost purred from a doorway as she passed. The large uniformed and robed Klingon officer stepped out.

Willow did what any commanding officer did shearingnher name for the millionth time, she smiled, raised a hand and nodded as she prepared a generic ’Hello, insert relevant title or rank or name here’ comment. The words died before they reached her lips however as she registered where the sound or rather who the sound had come from. She looked and then said. ”Hello.” because she wasn’t sure what else to say. It wasn’t often one encountered a Klingon in robes and uniform and certainly not often one encountered a Klingon in robes and uniform who knew your name.

As he stepped out it could be seen that under the archaic white sleeveless robe was a starfleet uniform with a white specialist’s under tunic. His collar sported lieutenant’s pips on one side and the Klingon imperial crest on the other. “Lieutenant Korak, at your service M’am. I believe I am your Chaplin ” He executed a slight bow. “I am glad to have found you.”
The grey haired Klingon was massive even buy the standards of his species, wile the scar bisecting his face gave him a roguish appearance. His attitude was differential but not in any way cowed buy her rank.

With the need to pass his vacant time, Solal found himself wandering to the promenade. The half-Vulcan was absolutely sure he had read every book he owned about eight times. And then those of the nearest crew mate, as well. Even the fictions! And Solal… did not like fiction. He did not understand the point of reading about things that didn’t matter, that couldn’t exist or happen. He preferred a good biography. Or textbook. Or even historical.

With a quick look about the room, he noted the faces he recognized, as well as those he did not. And then he looked for a good place to sit.
