Tija nodded, “I understand that and I knew that at some point I’d most likely have to talk to the Chief of Psychiatry. But maybe talking to you first will make that easier.” Her expression suddenly changed to one of confusion and surprise as she realised how openly, especially for her, she was already talking to Korak even though they knew each other all of five minutes. How strange. Using this moment of braveness, she continued, “When would be a good time for you?”

“As I have been cleared for duty, We can begin when your ready, Doctor. Tho we might need to find somewhere comfortable to speak if you need privacy.” Now he looked less amused and more curiously concerned.

Tija nodded and inhaled deeply before saying, “If you are available right now, maybe we can begin right away? I am assuming correctly that you don’t have an office on the Starbase? If so, maybe the holodeck would be an option if it’s available. Otherwise my quarters or even a quiet corner in a café?” She would prefer a private space, but all the options she had named felt okay to her right now.
