Elin paused outside the entrance to the Psych/Couns Suites before entering for the first time. A sad smile showed briefly on her face as she wondered what Olivia would have thought of her going into Starfleet. On the one hand she knew it had been a way to run away from her loss but in reality it had turned into so much more. Once she realized the memories would not be left behind on Earth, and that if she was really honest with herself, she really didn’t want them to be, she found herself looking forward again.Smiling, she put a cap on those thoughts and finally passed through the doors. She was ready to carry those memories forward with her now instead of trying to leave them behind.
