Drake was putting equipment after a mundane procedure, growing more and more tired of being in sickbay as he did. At least he had new ship and a shiny new sickbay to do things that were beneath him in. As he finished his task, he sat on the edge of a biobed. He sat and pondered whether anything different would ever happen. And hoping it would just walk through the door.-Dr Drake Marshall
Getting to know the new ship was a process of repetition, and as such Dira had taken to doing morning ‘rounds’, wandering key decks and spaces. Shifts would change and the people working them too, but she wanted the cumulative crew of the new Ogawa.
Meandering into the main treatment areas of Primary Sickbay, Myqian surveyed the large space and spied someone she hadn’t seen in a bit. She smiled at Drake as he sat on the biobed. “I hope you’re not the patient this time.”

“Not just now, no. Unless boredom is classed as an affliction.” Drake chuckled. “Can I help you Commander? Most people don’t come to sickbay for amusement.” He rose from his perch, wondering what might bring Command in.

Dira laughed. “Most people with my uniform aren’t also trained doctors with twenty years of psychiatry experience. I love a good medical space,” she said with a grin.
“I’ve just been wandering the decks lately to become as familiar with the ship as possible,” she said, drawing closer. “What’s your take on the new facilities?”
