The tall tattooed man with wild hair walked into sickbay and looked around. Wearing the uniform of the Medical Department with Lieutenant pips, he nodded approvingly before saying loudly “Who you gotta kiss to get a physical done around here?”

Kane, R&D

At is words a petite Bajoran woman with red hair and a scar running along her hairline looked up from a nearby workstation. “I can take care of your medical evaluation,” she said as she reached for a PaDD. “I am Doctor Tija and you are?” she asked as she gestured with her free hand towards one of the empty biobeds.

~Lt. Tija, Doctor

“Kane. New arrival.” was all the man said as he walked over and sat on the biobed. As the screens came to life, he handed her a PaDD. “Records may not be uploaded yet. Here.” he almost growled as he took a breath and cracked his neck.

Kane, R&D

“Thank you,” Aizla replied as she reached for his PaDD and put the one down she was holding in her hand. Opening the file, she began to quickly skim through it and asked, “Is there anything I should be aware of? Anything that may not be in your file?”

~Lt. Tija, Doctor

Kane couldn’t help but chuckle slightly. “No, nothing. And no new illnesses or injuries or anything since last physical.” he said curtly.

Kane, R&D

The slight frown that seemed to present most of the time, deepened slightly as Aizala read his file. Something felt off about his file. It was too … neat. No information missing, no slight errors or any of the other things you’d usually see in a medical file of anyone. Especially those who had seen more than one physician over the span of their life time. Brushing those thoughts aside, at least for now, she put this PaDD down as well and reached for the medical tricorder in her hip holster instead. Flipping it open, she pulled the small hand held probe out and began to scan Kane slowly and methodically from head to toe.

~Lt. Tija, Doctor

The scans showed nothing abnormal except for the large amounts of dyes and pigments in his skin. Any noticeable scar tissue was explained, clearly and concisely, in his record.

“You take this long with everybody?” he asked curtly.

Kane, R&D
