“Executive Officer, guess that’s me, huh?” Dira said with a wicked grin. “I’ve got my work cut out for me, so with your permission, I’m going to go find my new office and see about settling in.” As much as it would be an intense amount of work getting the ships and crew ready for deployment, Dira was decidedly excited about it.

“I guess that means social hour is over.” She smiled and bowed her head respectfully to the two women. “I shall head to the Security Department to start briefings, but shall I escort you to your office first Commander?” Her wink as she passed by Myqian was flirtatious but her standing was all on duty security head by the time she reached the turbolift.

The tiny smile slipped onto her lips before Dira could throw up her placid mask. Oh that woman was going to test her, wasn’t she? It was a terrible fun, though.
“Have fun you two. Try not to get lost.” Willow grinned at both retreating officers. She jumped however as Ensign Charlie appeared at her elbow, from nowhere it seemed, with PaDDs to sign.

COMyqian gave Willow a lopsided smirk. “We have a lot to organize and we both need to eat. Working dinner later?”

Willow nodded absently from the PaDDs she was reading. “That sounds like a plan…” she paused and looked at Charlie. “I am not signing off on thirty tons of Diablo sauce. No.” She handed a PaDD back to the Cheshire grinning (a phrase with a totally new meaning for the owie crew) Ensign and looked at Dira. “20:00 too late?”

Dira shook her head. “No, tonight’s going to be a late one. Pacing myself mea-wise,” she said with a grin. “Have fun settling in and enjoy the new space.”
With a bow of her head to Willow, Dira slipped out of the ready room and caught up with Zoi. “That was exceptionally cheeky of you,” she whispered to the COS.
