Having finished with the Security Chief, Laurali headed to main sickbay for the onboarding physical. She had her medical history in another padd in her hand as she walked in. She looked around and found a nurse, and let her know that she was there for her physical. With a nod the nurse when in search of one of the other medical staff.

Drake was just finishing a surgical report and saw the nurse coming. “Let me guess… something mundane has come up that urgently requires my attention.” The nurse nodded and took him over to the new security ensign. Drake appraised the situation and said “Ah. New arrival?”

Laurali smiled “Yes sir. I just arrived aboard and need my physical.” She said “That is if you’re not busy.” Dhe added quickly.

“No more than usual. If you’ll step over to biobed…” Drake looked to see what bed was vacant. “4, we can get started. I’ll also need your name to pull up your records.” He grabbed a medical tricorder and pulled a PaDD from his lab coat pocket.
