Time passed in a little storage room on the ship, its surprise occupant unaware how long it had been. So much so that when 1600 hours rolled around, there was no Dira strolling across the bridge to Taylor’s ready room for their scheduled meeting. Nor at 1605 or 1610.Commander Myqian, XO
Willow had briefly glanced up at 1605 and not thought much of the time as she returned to her administration duties. Come 1610 her brow had furrowed but dutifully she continued, frowning all the while. By 1620 the frown was in danger is becoming permanently etched into her face. By 1625 she was worried.
=^= Taylor to Myqian, did you sleep in this time?=^= she asked. Half a shared joke, half a hope because the Al tentative was either something had happened to her XO or something was going on elsewhere on the ship. She brought up GALEN’s internal display and did a quick systems check to make sure there wasn’t a fire or something somewhere of the detectable variety.

COThere were no emergency situations on the ship and more notable, perhaps, there was no answer from Myqian.

Willow frowned and hit her badge again. =^= Taylor to Myqian, Dira please respond.=^= she said and waited another moment.
There was no response.

She waited for the reply then immediately opened her comment again. =^= Taylor to Security. I am unable to locate Commander Myqian.=^=

Zoi looked up sharply as she received the call from the Bridge and Captain Taylor. What did she mean she was unable to locate Dira? She tapped her comm badge and responded with a confused look on her face and in her voice. =/\=What do you mean you are unable to locate Commander Myqian?=/\=

At that exact moment, the Ready Room door opened and GALEN protested, =/\= Warning, Unranked Crew Member Sir Mister Sir - unauthorized access to Captain’s Ready Room via manual controls will be logged and Security will be alerted to your presence. Remain where you are and await detainment. =/\=
“Yes, GALEN, I’ll do that. Maybe I can learn to make tapioca pudding while I wait!” said the figure who had just stalked through the door, and it was clear that it was Oscar Cascarrabias. “Boss, I’m sure you noticed - for whatever reason, GALEN has decided that I am nobody, at least according to my biometric scans, and when I tried to look for myself, GALEN reported that I wasn’t on the ship. I would have normally asked the XO about this, but GALEN says she’s not aboard, so I’m asking you instead, since you’re the only person with the authority to fix it besides me - and the computer doesn’t think I have that authority.”
Oscar was fuming, so he didn’t notice that the CO was already busy.

Upon hearing the unmistakable voice of the CE barging in on their conversation over the comm system. Zoi turned immediately to her console and worked to locate the person currently using Oscar Cascarrabias’s biometric readings.
