Shortly after his arrival on the Ogawa, Tyler had made his way to the main medical bay on Deck Five. Already walking through the corridors he had noticed several of the crew giving the new guy the eye. He couldn’t lie, the prospect of being checked out made him feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.Stepping into the medical bay, Tyler stopped just inside the doorway, surveying the area, hoping to find someone of the medical staff that wasn’t busy at the moment to assist him with his boarding exam.

Alexis was just leaving, having come up from secondary Sickbay to provide a consult. She spotted the unknown officer and matching his face to the dukes of new officers soon to be arriving that meant a boarding physical most likely. She had time, so she stopped beside him. “Hello Lt. I’m Doctor Bonner. Are you here for a boarding physical?”

Tyler flashed a smile at the woman. “Yes, ma’am, I’ve just arrived. I’m Lieutenant Tyler Wells,” He extended his hand. “Pleasure to meet you. I hope I am not taking you away from some other important duties at the moment.”

Alexis shook his hand as a matter of formality. Her eyes widened slightly. “A doctor’s most important duty are their patients. Nothing takes precedence over that, at least not here in medical. If you will have a seat on bio bed 2, right over there, I’ll be right with you.”
“Of course,” Tyler said, giving a nod and heading over towards the bio bed.
A nurse hurried over to the bed and turned it on so it would start its readings once he sat down. Alexis moved over to the computer and picked up a blank PaDD, sliding the stylus into her bun…and stopped and replaced it. Her bun was already held in place by too many styluses, there wasn’t room for one more. She put his name in, Lt Tyler Wells, to the computer and transferred his medical file to the PaDD.
In the mean time sickbay doors opened but no one seemed to enter. The aseptic entry could be heard running and then the secondary doors opened and an Icelandic sheep dog entered sickbay, wearing a green working vest. Tricolored and seeming to know her way, the dog trotted up to Alexis. The doctor glanced down and patted her leg and the dog followed her over. She pulled a tricorder out of her lab coat, flipped it open and removed the handheld scanner. “Anything in your medical file I should be aware of Lt?”

Tyler gave notice to the animal as it entered, glancing back up to the doctor as she spoke.
“You will find damage done to the memory centers of my brain,” Tyler said. “Other than that, I should be in rather good health.”
