She yawned an said, “I guess I can hang out for another hour.” She looked around for a seat and sat on the nearest empty biobed, and placed the hyposprays right next to her. “So since my job is learning about people why don’t you tell me about yourself. Don’t worry, this is an informal psych session. Nothing goes on the record. Just two colleagues getting to know one another.”

OOC Lori: I hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’ve been intending to interact with more people and this just seems like a cool thread to connect with some of Mariah’s colleagues.

Meanwhile, Mariah entered Sickbay, squinting slightly against the bright lights. She had developed a devil of a headache and had hoped to sleep it off, but it just wasn’t working. Knowing the following evening it would be her shift to be on call, she knew she needed to get a good night’s sleep and decided to seek pain relief. She was partly tempted to replicate something herself, but knowing the dangers of self-medication and the importance of proper modeling, she decided she needed to set proper example.
Spotting Drake and Almikaz in conversation, she offered, “Sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if I could for this headache I can’t seem to shake. I considered a hammer, but I figured that would be overkill,” she added sarcastically.

“Dr. Grayson”, said Surra surprised mostly due to the hour it was. “Don’t be sorry. I was just trying to keep Dr. Marshall company, so that his shift here in Sickbay is more bearable.”
She laughed at the hammer joke then said, “I am glad you decided against the hammer as a remedy. Although I am sure the doctor here would not mind having something to do, we have a full list of patients of our own to see tomorrow.”
Surra hopped off the biobed and approached Dr. Grayson so she could take a closer look at her. “A headache? Correct me if I am wrong, doctor,” she said as she looked at Dr. Marshall, “those are not as common as they use to be. In fact this is the first one I have heard of in years.Almikaz, CoP
“A headache, eh?” Drake feigned puzzling over it. “I think… there may be a remedy somewhere around here. Sit down” he said motioning to a biobed. He withdrew a tricorder. “So, an excess of stress or something else, d’you think?”
