Hey can anyone give me a little direction on how to separate my post between paragraphs to make it look a little neater and easier to read instead of one smashed together mess please? This is my first time writing/posting on the new site.

The squish happens as part of the reply process, so posts you reply to will always have the extra lines removed.
However for regular posts that you are typing, a simple carriage return is enough to insert the line break.

Just a note: A fix for “the squish” is going to go up sometime next week. The behavior after that will be what you expect it to be from before.
