Achilleas arrived in front of Ria’s quarters feeling a bit nervous. This was going to be their first official date as an official couple and everything! Nothing could go wrong or he’d like die from shame. Having asked around from some of the other officers on where to go on a first date, and getting quite a ribbing and teasing for his troubles, he learned that The Likable Hornet was a solid place to bring a date. There was food, music, drinks if desired and was fairly popular. So he made a reservation for the two of them on extremely short notice.They had returned to their respective quarters in order to prepare for the date with the understanding that the dress code would be less than formal but more than casual. Basic date attire really. Achilleas was dressed in dressed in black slacks with a mauve silk-like shirt. His slightly shaggy black hair was slicked back and in place. He had a subdued aroma about him, nothing pungent or out of place but something to enhance his natural smell.
He took a deep breath and began to smile a bit shyly as he pressed the chime.

As the doors swished open, Achilleas would find himself face to face with Ria; looking very different to any other time. Her long hair was pinned up in an elaborate hairdo. She was wearing a floor length, light blue skirt and a white, frilly blouse with puffed sleeves. She had pondered wearing her matching hat and lacy gloves, but decided that that might be a little over the top. “Achilleas!” she exclaimed softly and tender smile lit up her whole face. It still felt kind of surreal that they were really allowed to be together and that they were about to go on their first official date. It was exciting, but at the same time she was also incredibly nervous.
