Location - Shuttle, Holt’s Quarters.
=^= Docking to take place in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…=^= spoke the monotone pre-recorded voice of the Starfleet runabout’s computer en route to Outpost 42 to complete its task of delivering Ensign Johnny Holt a new security officer. It had taken around 30 seconds for the bay to repressurise and for the doors to the runabout to open allowing the young human male to exit bags in each hand.
Around 4 metres in front of him stood a tall female Lieutenant, whose purpose was to confirm the officer’s identity and show him to his quarters before he met his CO and duty officer. Walking over to Ensign Holt placed his bags on the ground and came to the position of attention. “Lieutenant, Ensign Johnny Holt reporting for duty, M’aam” spoke the officer in a clear concise manner. “Welcome onboard” the human officer went on to say gesturing for the ensign to follow him. Exiting the shuttle bay the two officers travelled along winding corridor until they were met with a turbo lift, this turbo lift’s doors already open and awaiting passenger.
=^= Junior officers quarters =^= spoke the female lieutent in a stern yet friendly tone.
Upon exit from turbo lift the officer spoke in a friendly manner “This way please” concluding the sentence with a smile. Following the female, who had long auburn hair, down the corridor the young human male let out a sigh of relief not allowing his nerves to overcome him. Arriving at the quarters of Ensign Holt the Female placed her index finger gently of the panel attached to the door panel and watched it open before retracting her hand to her waist and returning to an upright position.
“Please get familiar with your quarters and begin to unpack. I will return in 1 hour to show you to the captains ready room in the meantime, I must tend to other duties fairwell” spoke the senior officer in a kind welcoming manner as to dictate her intentions. “Thank you” spoke Johnny as he watched the officer leave turning once again to explore his quarters.
