Paige looked around “Not sure. But we’ll figure it out.” What does she see is different?

CMO

When Paige looked around, she saw that nearly all patients were accounted for.... except for the Trill woman who had been in a coma. Interestingly enough, the area around her bed was untouched, no equipment moved or anything.

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

“Where is the Trill?” Paige exclaimed “Use her last bioscans and scan the ship!” She touched her comm badge =^= Captain.. We have a missing patient.=^=

CMO

A moment later there was a crackle in the Comm and an unfamiliar voice answered. A very deep calm voice =^=Aplogies Doctor, I am Lieutenant Commander Baldur Bragason newly arrived. We have a bit of a situation in Ops and the Captain will be busy for a moment. What patient is missing?=^=

SOO
=^=A Trill woman that was in a coma. Check your sensor logs and see if there was any kind of a spike in anything that might indicate what happened.=^= Paige said as she looked around Sickabay “Ebony, start looking through the area with a tricorder and see if you can find anything.” Paige said to one of her staff.

“Have him review the sensor logs, maybe there was a spike of something that might indicate what happened to her,” Sofia remarked, “Meanwhile,” she pulled out a tricorder, “Let’s see if I can spot anything that might indicate where she might’ve gotten to.”

CMO

Concentrated around her bed were minute amounts of Chronometric Particles, and the logs from that the blackout showed a spike of temporal energy. Meanwhile the bioscan results were positive, however they were located in many different places at once, one location being operations.

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

A moment later the unfamiliar base voice came over the com. =^=Copy, starting check=^=

SOO

“Picking up on minute amounts of Chronometric Particles,” Sofia reported, “Could indicate some form of time travel?”

~Sofia Demakis~

~time travel…that’s all I need~ Paige looked over at Sofia “You are joking right?” She asked knowing that the other officer was not joking “Ok..so time travel. Hopefully wherever she went she is receiving medical treatment.” She rescanned the Klingon that she had sedated “Make sure everyone else is okay. And scan for any additional chronometric particles in case they are looking for anyone else.”

CMO

<bump>

“I wish I were doc,” Sofia remarked quietly, “I’ll organize a search party for her.” Tapping her badge, she contacted her deputy to have a few teams go over the station top to bottom on the look out for the Trill patient.

~Sofia Demakis~

OOC: Sorry bout the delay everyone, I was waiting for a post to catch up and forgot to continue this part of the story. I’ll rectify that right away.

Luckily for the doctor’s there were no more chronometric particle’s anywhere.... except for a large concentration centred around the Klingon’s head.

Mr Snuggles (GM)

Paige looked around “Report?” She asked now noticing the chroniton particles around the Klingon “Oh no you don’t” She said as she erected a level 10 forcefield around the Klingon =^=Stone to Ops. We have additional chronitons located around our Klingon friend in Sickbay. The working theory right now is we have some sort of time travel issue going on. I have the klingon in a level 10 forcefield and will try to dissapate the particles.=^= She said and looked at the others in the room “Dispate chroniton particles. start researching people.” She said as she stepped up to the bed with the Klingon lying on it and began attempting to figure out what his injuries were so that she could start to treat them.

CMO

=^= Understood Doctor. Keep me posted as you learn more. McGarrett out. =^=

Captain Mathias McGarrett, CO

Sofia continued to coordinate with her team to see if there was anyone on the station who wasn’t supposed to be there. In the meantime, she watched as the doctor worked on the Klingon..just in case he caused any trouble.

~Sofia Demakis~

OOC: sorry, please ignore my previous post, can’t be in two places at once! :)

Em/Akane

The scans from the Klingon showed an abnormality in his brain, a jagged looking object wedged inside his frontal lobe. While it had not caused any damage yet, it was still incredibly dangerous for it to be there.

Vak reviewed the scan results and then spoke to Dr. Stone. “Doctor, in the middle of the chroniton particles I’m reading a foreign object. It’s a jagged object wedged inside the frontal lobe of his brain. There’s no damage as far as I can tell. At least not yet. I’m going to continue to scan and see if I can identify exactly what the object is.”

Ensign Dabor Vak, Nurse

Paige came over and looked at the scans “What the he’ll is that?” She asked “Start scanning the others to see if there is something similar.” She ordered several of the staff.

Turning to Vak and began her own scans to see if the object could be removed without causing additional damage.

CMO

Scans of other patients showed that there were no such objects lodged inside of them. Meanwhile with the Klingon, the object seemed as though it could be removed, however it had to be done so manually, as the transporters could not get a good lock on it if they wanted to try that method.

Paige looked at Vak “Okay, so we do this the hard way.” She said and turned to two of the nurses “Go set up surgical suite 1, prepare for brain surgery.” She said looking at Vak “We’re going to have to do this manually, how long since your last brain surgery?” SHe asked slightly light heartedly.

CMO

<bump>

“Yes, Doctor. And I haven’t done brain surgery on a Klingon since at least last Thursday.” Vak managed to joke back, but the prospect of performing brain surgery on a species with that complex of an anatomy was daunting. He didn’t really care that he had the easy part.

A few minutes later he called out to her, “Doctor Stone, the surgical suite is ready for the patient.”

Ensign Dabor Vak, nurse

Paige nodded “Let’s go.” She said “Get him prepared for surgery.” Paige directed as she went to scrub up “Beckett, pull up all we have on the brain anatomy of a Klingon. In particular the area that we are looking at with the device.” She said “I want to do as little damage as possible.” She added “I don’t know that we will be able to.”

CMO

Paige looked at the patient for a moment “Laser scalpel.” She said holding out her hand as she finished cleaning the surgical site and prepared to make the initial incision.

“Laser scalpel,” repeated Vak as he handed it to her.

=/\=Medical what is going on there=/\=

With the doctor in the middle of performing the surgery and others present to assist, Vak decided it best he step away and respond. =/\= Ensign Dabor to Teller. Commander, Doctor Stone is currently performing brain surgery to remove an object from a Klingon patient’s brain. =/\=

Ensign Dabor Vak, Nurse

Paige continued working on removing the object “Suction.” She said as the area started to bleed more as she got closer to the object that was imbedded in his brain.”

CMO

“Suction,” repeated Vak as he handed her the proper tool. He noticed his hand jittering as he did so. Thankfully his movements weren’t the ones that needed to be precise.

As the Doctors worked a new arrival entered the room. A large man with a great black braided beard in a red Command Uniform with the pips marking him as a Lieutenant Commander stopped just a few meters away from the operation. He looked inside, tensed his jaw and put his hands behind his back. He could wait for the operation to end or until someone was no longer busy.

SOO - Baldur

Paige looked up through the window and noticed the new officer and turned her attention back to the surgery at hand. She had just exposed the device that had been implanted. SHe looked over at Vak “Okay. Forcepts.” She said and held out her hand, she was not sure exactly what they were dealing with “Scan this device and see if it goes any further than just here. I don’t want to pull on this until I know that it isn’t attached to further nerves.”

CMO

Baldur reached his massive neck to get a better look at the device from his distance, not an easy feat with all the commotion but a single look might be useful.

SOO - Baldur

“Yes, Doctor,” said Vak as he handed her the forcepts and then performed the scan. The Bajoran nurse looked up and noticed the command officer he had never seen before.

Ensign Dabor Vak, Nurse

Paige sighed =^=Computer turn on speaker in observation room=^=. She said =^=Commander Bragson, if you will look at the screen to your right, you can see what we’re working with.=^= She said knowing what he wanted to get a look at and rather than have him break his neck, she’d rather give him the first hand look. Turning her attention back to Vak who was scanning, she began to attempt to remove the device =^=I’ll make sure that you have a chance to examine it once we’re done here.=^= She said to the SOO.
