=^= Very well, Doctor. Also, let me know if you figure out who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. And if you come across any broken fragments, secure them. =^=

Just then, the turbolift doors opened. Mathias approached his command chair and began addressing the crew. “Alright people, tell me everything. And make sure to…what exactly is that I’m seeing?” The scene on the right view screen caught the captain off guard. A golden ship and a badly damaged Romulan ship appeared to be somehow entangled together.

One of the officers gestured wildly at the screen. “Uh, well, it seems that those golden intruders came from this thing. We were actually just rewatching the explosion of the Romulan ship that took out half the thing.” Sure enough, the outpost fired on the engine room of the Romulan ship, causing it and half of the golden ship to suddenly be just gone. “It still seems to be partly operational, but a lot of the front facing weapons were taken out during that explosion.”

“Hold up,” said Mathias, losing a bit of his composure that he seemed to always have. “We fired on a Romulan ship and destoryed it, and this is the first I’m hearing of it? We fired on who’s orders? This is the sort of thing I like to, you know, be informed about.” The captain allowed himself to take a breath and calm down a touch. Just because he couldn’t conceive of a reasonable explanation didn’t mean it didn’t exist. It merely probably meant it didn’t.

The officer rubbed the back of his head. “Tenkeller and Teller were the ones who ordered it, although they did apparently evacuate the thing. To be completely honest sir, I feel a lot safer with both of those things blown up than just one.”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

“If that were the case we’d only have the armed invaders and the all-powerful escaped convict to contend with,” quipped Mathias. “Speaking of which, what is the status of invasion force that’s boarded us?”

Mathias tapped his communicator. =/\= McGarrett to Commander Teller. I just was informed that you evacuated and destroyed the Romulan vessel. Can you explain? =/
\= He hadn’t yet run out of witty comments, but this was a rare moment that he wasn’t in the mood to make one. A conversation about communication during a crisis was going to be had in the near future with his first officer.

The voice that responded was not the XO, but his Security Chief. =/\= I guess technically I actually did that, Skipper. Romulan vessel was a gonner, sir. And we still had the other to deal with. But in the process we saved the Romulan crew and destroyed the ship that attacked them. And we may have a line on some more intel, so we are a step ahead of where we were, maybe. It was a two birds one torpedo kinda thing. The Romulan Subcommander is here with the XO and myself sir. Might want to come and have a word, Captain. =/\=

Tenkiller, CoS

=/\= That would be prudent. I am on my way. McGarrett out. =/\= Instantly he asked the computer, “Computer, what is the location of Commander Tenkiller?” He would have asked him directly, but he knew how many security concerns the new chief was juggling.

The computer replied with his exact location on Deck 14, which was the location where they were holding their Romulan ‘guests’

“Please join me. I have a feeling your insight will be invaluable,” Mathias said to the knight. He then headed for the turbolift, still carrying the phaser rifle Tenkiller had given him earlier. “Deck 14,” commanded the captain once in the turbolift.

The knight nodded and followed him into the elevator. “For once, it appears that all of this chaos worked out in your favour, considering that the two hostile ships took each other out.”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

Mathias considered the notion of chaos working out in his favor for a moment before replying. “I hadn’t looked at it that way. I don’t think our problems are over with crews from both on board. But I should take your optimistic kind of approach. As far as I know, only one is trying to attack us currently. Could be both.”

After the turbolift doors opened Mathias proceded down the corridor, holding onto his phaser rifle with both hands and ready to raise it to fire should the need arise.

A few minutes after the Captain stepped off the turbolift, there was a voice behind him from down the corridor. “Captain!” It was Toveka with a stranger behind her and Baldur behind them with a rifle in his hands. She had a case in her hands and a phaser at her hip and looked like she had been thru hell and back again. Though pretty much everyone in the halls at this moment looked that way.

Mathias stopped and turned around. He noticed they had another oddly dressed visitor with them. He could only imagine what this one’s story was. “Report Lieutenant.”

She nodded to the man beside him and then back to the Captain. “Sir, we have secured several intruders in the Science lab and we’re guessing this is what they were fighting to get in and get.” She held up the case a moment. “This is Nikola Tesla, and he appeared in my office about an hour ago. He was instrumental in subduing out boarding party.” She wanted to be sure the Captain knew, at least so far, Tesla hadn’t been a hinderance or a person of trouble.
