SNIP

Jessica moved up next to Tenkiller and kept her voice low. “So the whole joke of me being bloodthirsty if I don’t get enough coffee....right now this isn’t it.” She started with a hint of humor because at times it was all one had even if it was bad humor. She hadn’t checked the causality reports but the firefight at Evie’s had to have had some injuries. Any injury was one too many. “But,” she started with the all-purpose conjunction that led one to believe if the first statement was the truth or a lie, “maybe the brig is not the best place to beam the insurgents.”

Bringing up the portion of the area in space around the outpost, she pointed to a small area with ship hanging in near orbit. “Our hostile visitors seem to have the ability to just walk through our shields like it’s nothing. What do you think if we move the little meet and greet between us and them to this shuttle here instead of the brig. We can position the Sabre and Lancer here,” she moved two other ships flanking the shuttle on the screen. “That way if they try to make a run or cause any more shenanigans, we have control. With the way the artifacts are producing people from a million timelines, I am not so sure I am keen on the idea of keeping them on the OP. With the firepower of the Lancer and Sabre, they could take out whatever comes our way if the situation calls for it. I am not ready to pull the plug and just go after them with honk’ space guns but I am not ready to put all our people in harm’s way trying to find a way to protect them and eliminate the threat. And before you ask....the Sabre could take out the Death star if the occasion called for it…theoretically speaking of course.” Jessica waited to see Tenkiller’s thoughts on her off the OP plan. Her past in the intelligence field dealt heavily with isolate and keeping cells apart. That ideology didn’t give you room for reinforcements but it did stop all kinds of collateral damage.

Teller XO.

Tenkiller looked at her and said “When did I say send ‘em to the Brig? I was gonna shunt ‘em out a damn airlock. But your plan is just as good I ‘spose.” he said with a grin.

Tenkiller, CoS

Jessica let out a half snort of laughter. Tenkiller was such an enigmatic and pragmatic man. He had the heart of gold and was one of the most sensitive and caring men she had ever met. He was also the chief of security which meant he could make hard decisions and never look back when someone tried to hurt his own or the innocent. “I’m good with that. I mean air locks do go out.”

Jessica Teller XO

Right beside Jessica, the woman who had been appearing all over this station clapped her hands. “I for one think that would be a great idea! Then we put the fragments, blow it up, and then all go out for cake at that lovely cafe.”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

“Mary Mother Joseph,” Jessica yelped out jumping in the air and placing a hand to her chest. “You are like a darn cat,” she chastised the woman. “I swear I am gonna put a cowbell on you.”

Jessica Teller XO

Baldur lowered his rifle, he hadn’t realised that he had pointed it at the woman as soon as she spoke. It was only good trigger discipline that kept him from finding out whether or not she was capable of surviving a blast to the face. He ground his teeth You are getting slow in your old age He thought to himself then smiled “That’d be entertaining Commander” He said with a rumbling chuckle but surpassed it quickly “Shall we begin the search for the final timestone” He said realising he had just said out loud what he had been mentally calling the rocks and cringed internally.

SOO - Baldur

Tenkiller looked at him grinned. “Timestone? Didn’t realize we were in a sci-fi movie.” and he chuckled and gave the man a wink.

Tenkiller, CoS

Baldur returned the wink with a wide grin, his beard shaking as he chuckled silently.

“No one who is in a movie ever realizes it,” quipped Mathias, amused by the thought. “Call them whatever you want, but we need those pieces in our possession.”

“Its a better name than something a physicist would give it and far easier to remember. Go,” she said to Baldur with a nod. Looking back at the woman, she scrutinized her for a second. “Any chance you can use that stealth mode thing of yours and point us in the right direction for them or are you going to make us continue to play hide and seek for the?”

Jessica Teller XO

The large bearded man blinked at the Commanders order then simply nodded. Baldur turned around and half jogged out of the Security Office. He wasn’t sure where to start but wherever those strange soldiers were was a good start.

SOO - Baldur

Bump for GM

Toveka watched the exchanges and watched Baldur walk off. Turning to Tenkiller, she shook her head. “I don’t know how I can help.” She nodded back to Tesla. “And with rips in time pulling folks in we need to figure out what’s doing it and how we can stop it.” She sighed and furrowed her brow slightly. “And we need to make sure no one else on the station is here from ‘out of time’.”

She had jumped, like everyone else, when the stranger arrived. But as Ten didn’t shoot or tackle her, she let his instinct and knowledge rule her actions in that moment and didn’t get offensive. Though it troubled her the woman was more interested in cake than much of anything else.

Mathias turned his attention to the Victorian woman. “So, you want to blow up these timestones, do you? What we need is to restore everyone to the time that they belong to and stop new visitors from other times from arriving. Maybe you can help meet our need and then we can help meet yours?” offered the captain.

Captain Mathias McGarrett, CO

The woman waved at Tesla, only for fizzling sparks to come out of her hand. “As you can see, despite my added dramatic effect, my powers are not quite stable at the moment. I am really only able to control my own temporal location, and if I have a hiccup, what ends up happening. The stones are what are preventing me from snapping my fingers and everything going back to normal.” A horde or battle dressed Klingons rushed past, chasing a group of the golden intruders. “Luckily I’ve been rather successful at coming up with counters.”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

Toveka frowned as the Klingons went by. “So you are saying if these stones were no longer on board, or nearby, you could reset everything? How far away from you do they need to be? Or do they need to not ‘be’ at all? Destroyed or sent elsewhere, I meant.” She absently wondered if a shuttle could bring about a ‘reset’ of things so they could then focus JUST on the stones.

“Can we Just beam the stones down to the surface of the planet ,” Jessica asked. The surface of the planet below then was essentially abandoned. She knew there was a few places where people could visit to get away but the amount of people down there was skeletal at best. Aedan’s beach resort might take a hit structural but it was t like they didn’t have insurance.

Another thought filled her mind and more of a personal nature. “So the little girl,” she asked. “She is not a clone just a future version. She will go back to being smaller ?”

Jessica Teller. XO

Toveka frowned. “Maybe not to the surface. But perhaps below it?” She glanced at Ten with the query look on her face. “Perhaps a cavern of some kind, with no other access but beaming in. We can place them there then perhaps seal it so nothing else can beam in or out? Might double edge for us, in that we couldn’t get back in if we wanted. But it might work.” The comment of the little girl made her shiver. Could they truly lock the child up as well? Other provisions would have to be made, surely.

“A piece of me is tied to each one. Destroying them would be the best option, which shouldn’t be hard to do as long as you have a contained antimatter reaction.” An eyebrow was raised. “You can do that correct? I don’t have to bring in yet another variable that could potentially make things worse do I?”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

“No problem,” Jessica shrugged it off as if the woman asked for a cup of coffee. “You can do that right,” she looked at the chief science officer.

Jessica Teller XO

Mathias rubbed his forehead and shook his head. At least Jessica had answered confidently. The ability to be confident had to be at least as important in command roles as knowing what you were talking about. The captain jumped in to answer the question. “Yes, Commander, we can do that in Engineering on the Lancer. We need to focus on getting all of the timestones first.”
