The woman noticed what they were doing with the cart, and began to run alongside it, deflecting any blast that dared to come near. Her left shoulder pad rotated up to reveal a cannon, and pulses of electricity arced from it and to the enemies.

With these blasts, as well as the security team’s counterattack, the attackers were beginning to be pushed back. As this was happening, the leader seemed to get distracted by something on his wrist, before motioning to some of his troops. Nodding, they ran off deeper into the station, away from the fight.

“Aedan get Cera and return to the penthouse,” Jessica began to rerun fire next to Nikki and her husband.

If anyplace on the Outpost was safe, the penthouse was that place. Not the Aedan was being deceptive but Jessica knew that for every security procedure that was in place, Aedan had four others as back ups. 90% of the updates came after Cera’s birth. Aedan had always been proactive with his security measures for good reason; however, many thought Aedan was just narcissistic. The truth was Aedan simply prepared for everything and right now Jessica was thankful for that. “Leave with the Sabre if needed.”

Nikki chewed on his cigar as he came up to a knee and using the doorway to the bar as cover. Bringing his ‘heater’ to bear he fired, the automatic pulse rifle aiming at the retreating figures - focusing on their legs that suggested more chinks in the armor.

“Commander Teller, take a team and pursue,” ordered Captain McGarrett quickly. “And watch for friendly crossfire,” he added as he tried to anticipate the next confrontation.

“Comander Tenkiller, tell me you know where they are headed. We could beam a team to that location and surround the hostiles.” Moments like this were what Mathias felt like he was born for. Decisive, quick action that depended on instincts gained from years of training and experience. That was what situations like this called for.

Tenkiller nodded and tapped his comms =^= Delta, Bravo, Golf teams. Engage and pursue. Command deck, track the hostiles and relay back to all security their position every ten seconds. =^= and he stood and began running after the retreating figures.

Tenkiller, CoS

Jessica moved after Tenkiller a split second after he started running. Her weapon still hot in her hand. =/\=Captain are up shields around the outpost? It might prevent them from popping back out. Seal off the turbos and erect security force fields around the civilian sectors and primary control areas. Maybe we can pin them in a section until we can figure out what to do with them=/\= Jessica stated.

Jessica Teller. XO

OOC: I’m intentionally splitting this thread. This thread will remain at the Promenade.

IC:
Mathis let his first officer and the security staff pursue, lowering his phaser rifle once he no longer had a clear shot at the attackers. =/\= Commander, I’m on it. McGarrett out. =/\=

The captain then called Ops and ordered the shields up and the other suggestions that Commander Teller had made. After considering his possible options, he then approached the knight woman. They needed answers and these strange visitors had them. He just needed to extract them somehow.

=^= Longhammer to the Captain. Shields are up =^= came the superior sounding female voice.

“Thank you for your help. You kept us alive. Now tell me, who were they and how do we get rid of them?”

Captain Mathias McGarrett, CO

Much to the captain’s surprise, a band of security officers ran past them. He stepped over to get a better view of where on the deck they were headed. =/\= McGarrett to Stone. I just saw a bunch of security officers run past that looked like they were headed towards the Infirmary. What is your status? =/\=

OOC: Bump for GM and the other characters who could post in this thread

OOC: Bump again.

At the Captain’s question, the knight just shrugged, “I do not know who these individuals are. However, I as we are currently in the middle of negotiations, I shall not allow them (or those delicious treats) to be threatened by a number of thugs.” She pushed a button on her arm and a display popped up. “It appears that their armour holds an element that I recognize, and is also not found on this station. Using it, I can pinpoint their locations.” A frown appeared on her face. “It appears that they are approaching the areas where time is most in flux, do with that information what you will.”

Mr. Snuggles (GM)

How they were going to use that information Mathias didn’t know. But he could at least pass it along. =/\= McGarrett to Brine. Lieutenant, I’ve learned that the intruders are approaching the areas where time is most in flux. I don’t suppose you have any ideas on how to get time out of flux? =/\=

The captain then looked at the display to see if he could tell which areas were most in flux. “What is this element that you recognize?” he asked the knight.
