The wild-haired and tattooed figure came into the lounge and made a straight line for the bar. Taking a seat at the far end, he looked at the bartender and simply held up a finger… the index finger, not the one he typically used in social settings. The bartender gave him the friendly ‘What’s Up?’ nod and grabbed a glass and poured bourbon into it. He then deftly slid the glass down the unoccupied bar into the waiting hand of Kane, who just as deftly picked it up and swallowed the entirety of the glass’s contents in one go. He set the glass down upside down, a habit that drew a shake of the head from the bartender who liked to keep his bar clean, and Kane signaled for another.

Kane, Tac / Med

Chris came in not too long afterwards and went to the bar as well. He say down and asked for cuban rum, three fingers worth and took rye glass after it was handed to him. Noticing Kane asking for another he said, “And one for him as well please.” He then raised his glass to Kane and took a long, slow sip.

Kane didn’t look up from his staring at the bar top, but when the glass was set in front of him he did (maybe?) pause in lifting it up a half-second in what could be construed as a very brief acknowledgement of thanks. He threw the liquid down his throat and again sat the empty glass upside down on the bar. The bartender shook his head, walked over, picked up the glass and wiped off the area. “You could just set it down like a normal person, you know.” he said . Kane slowly raised his head, his tattooed face glaring at the barkeep. Not that most people were not used to him glaring, it seemed it was his default look. “I could. But then you wouldn’t have to walk all the way down here to clean. So where’s the fun in that?” and he signaled for another bourbon, gave a sideways look at Taggart, and then signaled for one for him as well.

Kane, Tac / Med

Chris smirked at Kane’s and the bartenders quibble and nodded to Kane when the bourbon came. “I don’t usually drink bourbon but when it’s free, I’ll drink anything. Thanks mate.” And he took a couple of slow, long sips.

Mwezi stepped into the lounge, finding a open seat and relaxing for a moment before thinking about what food he was going to get.

Mwezi

William hadn’t spent much time in the Lounge. He’d spent most of his time cooped up in his lab continuing his experiments. People here were mostly a waste of time he’d thought. At the Academy, everyone had the same focus but this was a battlecruiser. Not much use for a Scientist. But an open bar plus his own supply meant he wouldn’t have to be clear minded forever. After some pre-drinks in his Quarters, he moved to the lounge. Sitting at the bar he ordered an Andorian Ale and waited for his drink.
