As everyone were making their way to rescue the crew that was trapped. As well as the ones repairing the ship were attempting their duties. Reality seemed to melt away and warp around them. When the shifting had finished all crew members were standing in what looked to be a giant room filled with holoprojectors, even their weapons and equipment seemed to be part of the simulation that ended.

Loring closed his eyes for a moment and regained his usual composure as he stepped out from the crew to face them before beginning. “Well done everyone. This test has gone very well according to plan. I am sure quite alot of you have questions right now. Most that I am willing or able to answer. First off, welcome to Project Red.”

-GM

Kane looked around and blinked several times. Seeing the holoprojectors and simulation equipment, his hands clenched into fists, but he remained stationary. Looking at Loring, he said to no one in particular “Now can I deck him? Please?”

Kane, Tac / Med

OOC: Correcting typo.

Chris looked at Loring and then to Kane. “Permission Granted! Mwezi. Do you want in on this?” Chris was furious that he and the crew were tricked like this. Everything seemed so real. At least now he knew who he could trust and he was looking forward to transferring a few of the crew now after this.

OOC: Is the entire crew in this holoroom? Including the bridge crew?

Krys

OOC: Yes Krys, everyone.

Commander Chris Taggart XO

“Commander I want one too”

“Violence is never necessary, gentlemen.” T’Aria stepped in, raising an eyebrow at the hostilities of the men around her. “Surely, you are not going to get anywhere by striking this man.” She walked over to the men. Understanding partially where they were coming from, she did not make her response forceful, rather like the grandfather halfheartedly discouraging stealing that last cookie from the tray. However, T’Aria found violence was illogical, even if these people thought they had good reason for it.

Chris nodded and sighed. “You’re right doctor. Sorry Everyone. Stand down.”

Loring’s expression did not change from neutral as he spoke. “I have known the outcome of this deception was ninety percent likely to end with bodily harm to myself.” He tilted his head to the side and shrugged, “Well, not if I hadn’t taken a few precautions for the situation. I would not suggest acts of violence in this room now that the simulation has ended. The results would be rather…shocking.”

Loring stepped toward the crew and walked straight to Taggart. “You sir. Have shown rather well to keep you head after being tortured. Sorry about the tooth, however it was necessary to test if you would give up information while under duress and while in a more diplomatic setting. It was rather entertaining to see you dance around the Cardassians banter. Congratulations for not breaking.”

-GM

Chris smiled and calmly said; “Thanks. I try my best.” He put his hand out for Loring to shake.
While Loring hopefully grabbed it, Chris shook his hand the tightened his grip and used his other hand to hopefully deck Loring right in the face. Without letting go of Loring’s hand Chris said; “What’s a little shock compared to what we just went through?! If I get shocked, so will you! Game back on boys!” And Chris tried to deck him again.

Mwezi growled from the back of his throat. He did NOT like being duped. A primal part of him wanted to rip out the man’s throat. He restrained himself and merely flexed his claws slightly. “What was this… Nonsense?” He asked, gripping his sword hilt just so he had something to hold onto.

Commander Chris Taggart XO (until court martial)

Kane took Loring’s stament about shock as gospel, but that didn’t stop him. With a wide grin, he went from to leaping off the deck and flying straight at the two embattled men. He hoped he could smash hard enough to knock both of them to the ground so that any electroshock from contacting the floor would get Loring, too. As he came into contact, his hands grasped for any hold they could get on Loring,

“Lieutenant Kane!” T’Aria stepped forwards, in attempt to impede him, before he did anything stupid. However, recognizing it to be fruitless to even try to stop them, she stepped back, ready to prepare medical assistance.

Stovik meanwhile appeared to have actually caught by surprise, an unusual state for a Vulcan who usually had every scenario mapped out to the nearest decimal. He was standing, blinking into space until the scuffling of the crew actually caught his attention.
“Commander Taggert!” The Vulcan’s sonorous voice boomed out.”Stand down! Bring that man to me.” He said pointing his finger at a spot on the deck before his feet.

Chris heard the boom of the Captain’s orders and stopped dead in his tracks. He knew there would be repercussions for his actions. He was going to try to get him up and do what the Captain ordered when he looked up and saw Kane flying in at him and Loring from above like a wrestler jumping from the top rope. His eye got wide as he braced himself and went down hard with the contact.

Commander Chris Taggart XO

Phasers turrets shimmered into existence and fired at Kane and Taggart. The settings at the highest of stun would be enough to stop any fighting. Loring lay still and endured the hits of the two men before the blasts of the turrets started.

Stovik sighed in tired exasperation, like a parent watching children fight. It was apparent that this was even beyond his normal Vulcan stoicism.
“Loring, shut the blasts off! Taggart and Kane, get off him!” He barked out, making sure his voice was just loud enough above the blasts to be heard but snapped like a whip. Demanding obedience.

Captain Stovik

Chris would have gladly obliged the good captain and was trying to do so when Kane came flying in. But now Chris was on the ground and stunned into unconscious. So he didn’t hear the Captain.

Commander Chris Taggart XO

Kane managed to grab a handful of shirt before the phaser blast… blasts… hit him and knocked him cold and unmoving to the deck. Even as he fell unconscious, his hands stayed clenched in fists and the anger only slowly faded from his face.

T’Aria rushed over to the two, kneeling beside them. Pressing her fingers to Kane’s neck, and then to Taggart’s, she checked for a pulse. It was a safety precaution, rather than a fear for their death.

Mwezi could growl some very rude things at Loring, but in order to keep the ratings PG-13, he refrained himself to just growling that Loring was a stupid jerk-face. “What in Va’al’es name was all that for? Making us think we were dying, tearing out the XO’s teeth?” He looked around, searching the crowd. “Who all is here? Is anyone - other than Taggart and Kane - injured?”

William had stood still this entire time. His mind catching up with what his body was experiencing. He finally shook himself out of it and moved towards the Captain in slow deliberate steps. As he stopped he carefully put his hair back as well as he could “Truly an interesting turn of events” He spoke more to himself than anyone else.”
