Ensign Valharra walked onto the bridge, and looked around. He found the tactical station and stood by it. There were a few glances because he was new to the bridge, and he was vulcan in security. He looked down at the console and started catching himself up to speed on what was going on.

“Ah! Ensign Valharra. Welcome to the bridge.” Chris said as he got up and walked over to him. “Please feel free to ask any questions and your department Head is standing over there if you need anything.”

He then went to the restaurant cart and poured himself a cup of coffee and grabbed a doughnut. “Anyone want me to get them something from here?” He said as he took a bite of his favorite Boston cream custard.

Mwezi nodded politely to Valharra, lifting a hand slightly as Chris referred to him. He was stood right behind the Captains chair, in a body-guard stance.

“I would enjoy a chocolate donut,” he commented in response to the captain’s query.

Mwezi, CTO

Chris nodded. “A couple chocolate donuts coming up! Hey. Do you like cream fillings and the like? There are some jelly, Boston cream custard, and a terrible icing filled ones here as well. I prefer the Boston cream ones myself.” As he brought over the treats to Mwezi and then going back to get his and his coffee.

On sensors Valherra could pick up the decent of the shuttle team to the planet, they landed without trouble several miles south of the village in a narrow forest clearing where the two weak warp signatures had been picked up earlier. From an overview standpoint the team seemed alone from the local populace. The nearest life was a short ways north up the road they were near in another smaller clearing. Using their birds eye view they had they could see a trio of fairly large wagons pulled by horse like creatures. A large fire in evidence and two smaller cooking fires nearby. What was interesting was this camp had not been picked up right away during earlier scans it was almost like it had appeared out of the fog from nothing! A crazy notion to be sure obviously and likely it had just gone overlooked on earlier scans.....people, animals, and wagons just didn’t appear from thin air right?

Chris heard a beep and looked at the view screen. “Crap!” He said as he went over and toggled the com. (O) Chernov Shuttle One, this is the Captain. It appears on our scans that there are two campfires near your location that were not there before. Large wagons and horses. Could be the thick fog but we are recalibrating our sensors to better peer through the dense fog and lightning storms. Stay on guard and keep regular check ins every hour. (O)

Captain Chris Taggart CO

[O]Chernov, loud and clear. Any chance they saw our shuttle on the way down?[C]

-Lt Cmdr David Malkin, XO

Looking things over it was certainly possible but there was no way to be sure.

GM CockRoach

(O) I don’t think so because they are not mobilizing but be on guard just in case. Plus you came down in a dense fog and lightning storm.(O)
