The rest of the night passed without incident as morning dawned the Vistani began packing up, Rosana turned to Taggert again. “..Your answers lie to the north in Barovia village I advise stirring the ire of the Count but you will do as you will..” she said before turning away.

“Thank you my lady. But this just doesn’t effect my kingdom. I’m fighting for everyone. If I must stir the pot, then I will; but I’d be happy to not to.”

“Commander. Round up the troops and let’s get moving.”

Crelle looked to the Commander and confirmed what she had heard, before looking back to the Lieutenant with a small smile of apology and question. She wanted to ask if this was the wisest choice, to have both medics on one team, but she did not want to question the Commander’s orders. Deciding to follow through, Crelle moved to go to the Commander’s side.

Brigette brought a bowl of what appeared to be hot oatmeal in the morning. She apologized at the intrusion and swiftly moved to step away, not wanting to be in the way. The Captain looked ok, if not a bit worn from the sleeping accommodations the night before. That was going to have to satisfy her for the moment.

She then went to check on the sick crewman. She had made sure he ate, stayed hydrated and was sure he’d be back up to snuff coming this morning.

William disliked sleeping under the open sky, there was a reason he joined Starfleet, and taking a camping trip was not it. He took some time to do his morning stretches an activity normally reserved for the privacy of his own quarters. After limbering up and getting some breakfast with some of the others he finally found the Captain just in time to receive his orders. He accompanied the first officer in gathering the rest of their team.

Blaze had rough start at the start of the night but after he get some food in him and hydration he was feeling a whole lot better. He got up did a few stretches then found a tree and claimed it he was very skilled at claiming a good way to wake up his muscles. Once he was up there he reached into his bag and pulled out a spyglass and took a quick scan around. Even if the spyglass looked or it had a lot of tech in it Like Rangefinding infrared thermal night vision and I can also zoom very far in it.

Looking around nothing really showed up beyond some hints of smoke to the south far off, and a bit closer to the north in the direction of this mysterious ‘Barovia Village’ and further in that direction up a misty foggy mountain side a fog shrouded large castle.

Around them the Vistani were finished packing up and as one began to move in rough southerly direction after discussion with their elderly woman from the night before.

The engineer climbing up the tree id not go past Will, his innate curiousness pushed him towards the tree, and with a stretched neck he looked up and called out “Anything interesting catch your eye?” He asked.

Chris laughed and was going to yell out *No. You’re supposed to say Find anything yet?!” But suppressed himself with great difficulty since he was in mixed company. He found the old lady and bowed to her. “Thank you allowing us to stay with you last night and the information and to partake in you morning meal. We will head out now to Barovia and find out what is going on and if we must I will talk to the Count with the really cool name. Good speed on your journey and future travelings ma’am.” He bowed again.

Turning to his crew he looked for his XO. “Commander! Assemble the troops and we will be off!”

Bridie helped gather up her team and moved out when the Captain ordered it. The skirt was bothering her, wishing for her leggings at least, and pants at the best. But not one of the other women in the group of those they were with were wearing pants. So, unfortunately, she was stuck with her legs exposed in the outfit for another day. She wondered if she entered one of the tents at night and beamed out just for a shower and warm pants for a bit and returning in the morning, would be noticed.

Then her gaze looked to the Captain. He was managing, almost thriving. She wondered if his love of horror movies was anything to do with it. A few of the movies she had watched with him seemed to take place in wilderness type settings. Perhaps he was imagining himself in the role of hero in the movies he watched. She hoped so. Because if he was thinking of being the antagonist in his movies… the thought brought a slight smile to her lips. The man whose head was covered in spikes came to mind. He would certainly cut a deadly path and get what he wanted.... she left the thought fade off as she watched him command everyone with the aire of a Captain and the voice of someone that fit in this time and place.

Blaze landed on the ground after his trip up the tree “Nothing much to see sir just some smoke to the south and to the north. I believe the north area is the Barovia Village and Close to the mountain through the fog I see a castle” he said as he put his spy glass away “I even saw a lot of fruit in the trees thing that look like green apples and some animals looked like they are game to eat”

“Excellent work Ranger (Blaze). We will head out towards the village and gather information there and along the way gather some grub.”

Ensign Valharra was in a crouched position, as part of the perimeter security. He was close enough to the camp that he could hear the crew’s conversations, but also far enough away to hear anyone or anything approaching. He was alert to everything going on.

Mwezi stepped over to the Captain and stood near him, glancing around with a quiet expression on his face. He was curious about these beast folk the natives spoke of, if they were alike to him or not, how beastly they might be… His eyes glazed over, lost in thought for a few moments before he snapped back to attention, watching for any possible sources of trouble as they prepared to set off on their journey to this “Barovia” place.

After going over his gear one last time William was finally prepared to go with the group, he preferred to walk alone slightly to the side of the group. He liked to be able to blend into the crowd in case he needed to scan anything without being noticed.
