As Lt. Lovejoy went to the medical bay she then sat on a bed. She then waited for the doctor to look at her and say something. “Hello.” She then said.Lt Lovejoy
A human began passing by her in a white coat, but he certainly didn’t look like a doctor. Wild hair hung over his face and appeared to be shaved close to the scalp on one side. His hands and what could be seen of his neck and throat were covered in tattoos of all kinds of colors, shapes, and quality. When she said hello, his head whipped up from the PaDD he was looking at and angry green eyes glared at her. A low voice, almost a growl, said “Yeah? Whadaya want?”
Kane, CMO
“I’m checking in before my next shift on the bridge happens. I wanted to get my physical in. If that’s okay with you.” She then said to the person.
Lt. Lovejoy
“Well, since you can’t be on the bridge for your shift until I clear you for duty, I guess it doesn’t matter if its okay or not, does it?” the man replied and pulled out a medical tricorder from his white coat and began running his scans. “Any changes since your last exam? Illness, injury, blah blah blah-blah blah…” he said as if he was only half-listening.

“Nothing sir. No illness and no injuries. Are you okay sir. You don’t seem to like people interrupting you.” As she said. Lovejoy then wondered if she did something. “I’m sorry if I did. I uh. Didn’t know that you were that kind of person who doesn’t like to be interrupted. So if I did. I apologize.” She said.
Lt. Lovejoy
Kane simply glared and then walked off. “Gimme a minute.” he shot back over his shoulder. As he rounded a corner, a nurse came over and smiled at Lovejoy. “Dont take it personally. The CMO is an… acquired taste. He just isn’t what you would call a ‘people person’. But he is a fantastic doctor.” and she glanced over to see Kane coming back reviewing a PaDD. She shot a wink at Lovejoy and then made herself scarce quickly.
Kane approached and said “You’re vitamin D and C deficient. Hold still.” He produced a hypospray from his pocket, checked it, and then pressed it to her neck. A slight ‘pop’ followed by a brief hiss and he put the instrument away. “You’re cleared for duty. That it?”

“Yes sir it is. Thank you for clearing me for duty. I’ll go to the bridge now.” She then stood up and walked out. The Lt. then started to walk to the turbo lift and said Bridge and it took her to the bridge.
